It holds up very well actually. Square is definitely milking the KH crowd with these releases though. This is the 4th time KH2 has been re-released too (Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix and this new Kingdom Hearts The Story So Far). This is probably the last re-release since it includes all the current console KH games.

My Best Buy GCU ends Nov 8th 2018. I believe the Best Buy holiday return policy starts Oct 28 which will extend returns until sometime in January.

i was going to buy all the games that I want on Oct 28 so I get my 20% off from GCU before it ends for me. Then when Black Friday is here, I'll buy the same games but on a most likely bigger discount for BF. Then I can return the games I initially purchased so I keep the new, more discounted copy. I know that GCU does not stack with BF deals, but I believe lots of games will be discounted more than 20% off.

Is there anything wrong with my plan? I have about 8 $60 games I plan on buying for this.

no but best buy has been banning ppl for excessive returns so just be on the look out for that since you have 8 $60 games you want to return you may end up being banned from returns and being stuck with stuff you wanted to return..might as well just wait and buy them cheaper later..

 
That 2/70 deal seems tempting for me

Im going to be in Oregon this week and they don't have a states sales tax (unlike here in Cali).

Those games will likely be $30 on Black Friday.

I don’t have a poor return history with Best Buy. It’s honestly gonna be more like 3-4 games I’ll return, and it will be all at once so I doubt they would stop me with this return
 
Seeing Kingdom Hearts reminded me that I still had to decide where to buy KH3 - here with GCU, or at Gamestop with the preorder bonus poster. I just took a look at the posters, and they're pretty weaksauce. So that settles that.
 
The 2 for 70 are ea games definitely going to be 29.99 or less on BF so pass since GCU isn’t applying .. plus like someone else mentioned if you buy some separately if you have GCU it’s actually cheaper 😂😂😂

The PS4 and XB1 versions are now on sale for $29.99 each.

Good golly miss molly! This makes me so happy. I never expected EA to let this one go. I figured that they would remake it horribly like they do everything else and give it a final burial. This is very good news. What I was reading didn’t dawn on me until I saw your post. Thank you

Fixed. Also added the 3 Ubi Switch games coming out tomorrow.

 
Call of Cthulhu and Death Mark look like two intriguing titles....will wait for a price drop. Probably too soon of a release for BF.

Thanks for the heads up here. We are now in the extended return window, so I can pick up a copy but still return if there is a better BF deal.
 
Damn, I want Diablo 3 on Switch, but $59.99 for Diablo 3 in 2018 is a hard pill to swallow. I still have my GCU for a few more weeks though and will definitely pick up some stuff this weekend, but may just have to wait on Diablo for now. 

 
My GCU says it expires today on bestbuy.com but yesterday it stopped working. FU Best Buy!!! Luckily I preordered Hitman 2 Gold Edition while GCU still worked and used my 25% off coupon to bring it down to $59.99. I also preordered Super Smash Bros Ultimate for Switch. I was deciding on Mario Party.

Been hearing about GCU expiring a day early (my day is today). Placed an order this morning WITH GCU and they just canceled the order and now GCU is officially gone. That's fucked up BB
 
I'd guess Best Buy is determined to lose customers, much like Sony seems to be.

My GCU is good for a whole nother year, but I'm going to go ahead and make some preorders, just in case they pull some more bullcrap.
 
I did order one game one day before my gcu expiration date n thought gcu applied but nah it was already gone. Chances of getting them to fix it n apply a 20% discount? Most likely zero
 
I saw a promotion for a $10 coupon toward Battlefield V with a trade-in of previous FPS shooter. I have Titanfall 1 or Battleborn to use.

My question is, if I pre-order and the use the coupon upon pick-up, will I still get the $10 certificate for the pre-order?

The fine print on the coupon mentions it can't be combined with any offer.

 
I preordered 3 Smash controllers and adapters and they split up my order. No worries though since they gave me an extra set of each for some reason.

I preordered from Amazon since I had promo credit but UPS delivered to my Apartment office instead of my back patio like I said to so now the earliest I get it is Monday.
