Remove Negative Feedback

Please remove negative feedback I provided to salemhooper because now he is holding my $paypal money ransom until it is removed.  

 

I still don't believe his story, if mod's want to read the back and forth about a simple FarCry 5 code, please do so.

 

I'm pretty upset over the entire ordeal and probably will never trade codes on CAG again, I stopped in 2016 and now I run into a complete waste of time with salemhooper pretty much coming up with some kind of story.

It's up to you all to remove the negative feedback but I think in this case, it should not be removed.  And now he's holding my $ at ransom.  

 

He failed to realize and even tell me he was in France, after I gave him 2 codes.  He has used both codes up and now they they never be redeemed.  Feedback should remain negative.

 

Thanks for considering, but now I"m out a simple $15 and 2 game codes from him.  If he argues to have the feedback removed, I want a mod to directly respond to me first.

 

He just simply didn't even read the redeem site.  It clearly stated US only.

I've Flagged this thread for review by a Staff member of CAG, so hopefully one will get to you as soon as possible.

 

IIRC, in order for a Moderator to be able to view the PM conversation between you and salemhooper, you must go to the PM thread and invite the Moderator using the "Invite Participants" option.

 

Now you say that you are out money and codes. If you've paid him any money on Paypal, then I'd file a dispute on that payment as soon as Paypal allows you to do so. Just make sure to document all your interactions with salemhooper, including all Paypal receipts, before you file the dispute.

 

Also, if the user has scammed you out of game codes, most gaming services have options where you can report the code as stolen/fraudulently obtained. I'd recommend that you contact whoever is the issuer of these "2 game codes" (be it Microsoft/Xbox/PlayStation/Steam/etc.) and report that the codes were obtained fraudulently by salemhooper.

 

As for the negative feedback against salemhooper, I wouldn't remove it, because that just incentivizes the extortionist behavior. From what you've said, salemhooper failed to mention that he was in a different region, which is CRUCIAL for game code trading. This is because some game merchants (Steam/Xbox/PlayStation/etc.) issue codes that are "Region locked" (only able to be redeemed in particular parts of the world) and do not offer exceptions to this. By not mentioning his region, he failed his duty of care to you in this transaction.

 

Hopefully you can get your game codes reissued by the issuing service, your money back through paypal, and a CAG staffer to review this case asap.

You dont need to memorize it - just look down the list of forums till you hit website feedback.
