Gamestop Pro days Nov 9-11

IMO this is helping me pick up Black Friday deals early. Detroit and NnK2 at good prices. COULD go a bit lower on BF but I’m willing to chance it

I want to check out Detroit but maybe I should check my library first.

I’m curious how the story compares to Humans.

Just noting that ac odyssey will be cheaper on bf, at least the thread shows that.
And no mans sky is currently $30 at bb, 24 if you still have gcu (i just bought it myself)

You guys will the love the non-stop action of Detroit:Become human during the hour long dishwasher scene . It dropped to $20 in 5 months for a reason .

For the extra trade in credit towards a Pro, can you trade in 2 systems for the extra credit? Like OG Xbox One and OG PS4? Or it typically only applies one console?

Every game doesn't have to be an action game.

I'm definitely in for $20 Detroit Become Human.

GS seems to be doing is $10 cash thing now, started with RDR2. Similar to Best Buy savings code. Combined with some decent Pro Day deals and they could probably get more marketshare. Especially with all the games this holiday season. Now if they could just keep their new games still in the original shrinkwrap...

I'm not a fan of Detroit but it is worth a $20 playthrough. My issue was with the story making you feel bad for treating androids like machines instead of humans (one of the main points in the game) and that the games theory for who created the main issue surrounding the game.

It isn't bad but it is a love it or hate it game.

Witcher III Complete for $20 caught my eye.

Before the very recent reprint, I was afraid I'd have to pay $50+ for it since it was OOS and going up in price.

? this almost makes me want to get a Pro membership. 20 bucks for the special edition Friday the 13th and Detroit? And then BF prices on Wevil Within 2 and Wolfenstein? Not bad at all.

You might actually be able to get the Friday the 13th Slasher's Edition Collector's Edition for $19.99 as the ad shows a picture of the Collector's Edition with the mask (that's normally $69.99) instead of the standard edition. Pretty sure its the non-CE that will actually be on sale though.

Have past pro days had drops in the pre-owned prices for the games they have on sale new?  A new copy on sale has not always translated to the pre-owned price dropping as well.  I'm guessing probably not

Was there a TIV bump at GS last year for Black Friday? Trying to decide whether it’s worth it to trade in a few games during Pro Days or hold out until Black Friday.

It's this price every Pro day, so you're in luck.

Nope.

Huh, $20 for that Friday the 13th CE mask might just be worth it. Anyone who got that CE (and willing to admit it ) able to comment on the quality?

Now that I look closer at the website, it looks like GS fucked up and put the wrong picture up for the CE with the mask as $20. If I can find it in store, I'm gonna either PM it somewhere or ask them to honor the price.

Looks like I'm another one getting Detroit for $20. I won't get a chance to play it for a year or two given my backlog and therefore, should probably pick it up later instead, but such is my nature.

I'll wait until it is free on PS Plus like the other David Cage games.

FWIW, I really enjoyed Detroit. Its definitely got a cool story and the visuals are top notch. But what you are really playing it for is the Connor/Hank cop buddy story.

Like other releases from Quantic Dream, its more interactive story than game. More a game than a walking simulator like What Remains of Edith Finch, but still mostly story/dialogue/decision making.

I got the platinum over a half dozen redbox rentals (mostly using the free or discount codes). It was maybe 25 hours.

i loved Heavy Rain, Detroit is worth 20 but i couldn't get behind the story

the world is overpopulated enough, you want us to accept an entirely new form of "human"?

stick to murder mysteries, David Cage

THIS makes more sense.

Im a bit shocked to not see Dragon Quest 11 on sale for atleast $30-35. I would like to get Ni No Kuni 2, but I rather play DQ for that RPG itch I have. Hopefully its part of their BF ad.
