Hey guys if you buy thru samsung pay right now you get 30% off purchases at bestbuy cashback. It has worked on pre orders for me so far they say pending and video games it looks like it doesn't work on consoles. My question does it work on games digitally?

Yep. Not sure how this will play out but I made a few preorders with it. Max credit back is 200 so you cant use on a 5k TV.[attachment=31307:Screenshot_20181120-100711_Samsung Pay.jpg]

It says the max credit back is 100 per purchase but people have reported getting back more than that. We will see what happens.
 
You buy via Samsung pay app. Use any form of payment (not sure about gift cards and certs). Get an estimated cashback amount in a few hours via the app.

The estimate is based on pre-discounted price (if you are buying pre-BF sale items).
 
Before anyone goes crazy on this and then comes back to complain, there is no confirmed reports of anyone receiving the cash back amount in their account yet.  Any posts you see anywhere, where people say they have it is only a pending amount.  It could easily be cancelled and it won't post until the end of the return period.  Game consoles are confirmed excluded, and the CB is only supposed to apply to non-promo priced items (although nobody knows for sure what does or doesn't fall into this category).

 
I freakin' bought something at Best Buy yesterday and used another cashback offer that was only 1%. This would've came in handy, but I never look at the Samsung Pay cashback offers. Would've gotten $15 back instead of $0.50 lol. Not sleeping on Samsung Pay anymore.
 
Almost pulled the trigger on this for a 65" TV, but wasn't sure.  Looks like you have to wait 45 days to get it back, if it works.  There are a lot of items that aren't eligible.

I think they should start bringing back REBATES BY MAIL and CLIPPED COUPONS

Update. On the order I placed on 2 preorders, I got $35.99 back. The total was 101.74. I'm about to preorder everything. I'm also getting the 6 percent from my bestbuy Visa.

Also using reward certs doesn't effect the cashback total. This is amazing if it works out

If anyone trys this on a ps plus sub and it works, I'd like to know.

this deal almost made me soil myself with excitement. I ordered the let's go eevee pokeball bundle. GCU applied and according to Samsung, I should be getting $29.99 back in 2 months unless they decide not to give me anything. That's ok though.. Happened to me on prom night too.

On the off chance this didn’t get pulled. Does anyone know what can be redeemed with the rewards? At first I was thinking cashback like a credit card. But reading their info it looks like it’s only for rewards.

according to the gigantic thread at SD detailing everything: "Cash Back can be redeem via Samsung Pay Rewards Card (visa cash card) or via various retailer gift card, some of which have bonuses to load with CB (ie 22.50 for a 25 GC)."

If you go to the deals section, each deal has a little bookmark icon at the bottom right to your that you can click to save it. On the same page, at the top, there's a bookmark icon that takes you to your saved bookmarks

I also had it bookmarked but it looks like it only gives the newly advertised 1% on a purchase made today. Ordered a couple games last night and those are pending at 30%. Paid almost all of it with gift cards so if I receive anything back I’ll be happy.

I may stay with ebates for now. Still have some learning with samsung pay. May try in-store sometime.

I bought a tv for in store pick up and after a week didnt pick it up. Last night the order was cancelled but this morning the cashback posted(no longer pending) on samsung pay. Can I use it (cashback) or will I be charged later because I didnt pick up item?

When you pay for it, you're supposed to get it right then and there. If you paid for it on prom night and she told you that you'd get it in two months that was your fault. I would have demanded it there or demanded my money back.

Might turn your account to a negative balance if you redeem it. 1 order that I placed, I cancelled and it still shows as pending. Since this is new, they might not be able to tell if the order in no longer active. Probably end up with free money. Cash it out if you dont care about future Samsung deals.

Got excited and thought they brung it back. :)

Wow, it would have been really nice to get in on this as the battered women's shelter I run could really have used a new Vitamix and Nespresso machine.  

 
Got the full cash back on retail price for my 10tb hdd, making it only $90. Got a free movie too.

Did anybody preorder anything while it was still at 30% off and have their cashback amount post? Mine's showing $0.00 cb pending for my preorder, but it doesn't release til February, so I'm wondering if they screwed me or if I have to wait til release.

 
The amount you earned should show in your account. Either as pending or earned. 0.00 is not good. All my order amounts showed as pending within a hour. Just checked and 3 of them, actually posted and I can redeem them.

These are all preorders, some with no release date.
 
I got my $130 cash back for $305 pre-tax purchase, confirming it was on pre-BF sale prices. I also got $10 for an order I canceled. Stacked with $30 off from amex deal, I made out like a bandit on some external storage.
