Pretty good price for an outstanding game. There is no multi player hot seat from what I've read if that matters.

Why couldn’t they have waited to put it on sale :(. I’m very tempted to get this but it’s just going to sit on shelf with Smash coming out this week. Decision, decisions. Thanks OP.

Hmmm...interesting.  I've been eyeing this since it released only a short while ago, and a 33% price reduction is pretty darn good this early for a Switch title. 

I'm going to impulse place an order for store pickup and lock in the price while I think about whether I want to keep it with Smash later this week.

 
Awesome game. I bought it day one, played it quite a bit. For me, there is too much going on to really enjoy it in handheld mode and when I'm playing on the TV I mostly just wish they had added pointer function like a mouse instead of only buttons. The controls are done well, but if I'm playing on big screen would rather have my mouse, and playing small screen is just too busy. Ended up selling my copy on Ebay and gonna stick with my laptop for it.

All that said, it is really well done. Great port.

I can say with certainty that they will. I decided to cancel my Target order in order to pick it up at BestBuy (with pricematch). I'm only about $100 away from getting Elite again for next year, so I figured that this item would help get that closer (Elite access more than makes up for the 5% savings via redcard, in this case).

 
Love how both this (at Target) and Diablo 3 Eternal Collection for Switch (at Walmart in store) got huge discounts just after release.

Well, I'm not 100% sure that the Walmart Black Friday price was actually intended. There is a world of difference between $17 and $39.99 sale prices on a $60 game.

 
Sign in stores shoes 12/2-12/8 so no worries on using gift cards tomorrow to save the extra 10% or 5 versus red card

Did you have any luck getting them to stack GCU with that? I know they aren't supposed to, but I can't tell if I actually want to sit in chat with them to try and get a $8 difference between the launch one price with GCU and this haha.

Think I'll stop at Best Buy tonight and price match this. I have a $5.00 certificate to bring it down a bit lower.

Getting GCU on a price match typically doesn't happen because it requires a manual override to do it. When they price match another store the discount isn't automatically applied when they pull up your account info.

I picked up the last copy of Civ VI at my local Target. I kept telling myself I don't need another game right now especially with Smash out the end of this week, but $20 off this close to release is pretty good and my GCU ended last month so I must now revert back to life before GCU where $39.99 is a great deal for a fairly new release. Dammit I miss GCU!
