Update 12/6/18-I've read that if you boot up our BF1 copy there is an ad for 50% off BFV on all systems including deluxe at $40, so worth a shot for those interested.  IMO-I really enjoyed the war stories, and so far the MP has been pretty good, I like that it is different from other games.

I liked the single player story in the EA Access trial. Would like to play the rest. But it won't be long before it hits $20. That's my number.

I for one welcome buying it at $40. At least now no one will have an advantage over anyone at game's start.

P2W wasn't necessarily always the case, but locking stuff out from other players in terms of story or other advantageous weaponry was always a severe annoyance.

Plus the first free DLC hit today, so I'll bite at that price.  Maybe I can get my old gang back together for that sale.

 
FYI - BFV is now available for $30 off in PSN store if you first boot up an old copy of BF1 or BF4 or BFH. There’s a link in the old game’s menu.

$30 off deluxe edition too.


This worked perfectly for me. I was looking for a discounted digital edition to share between PS4s. Only precious discounts were physical copies and not on Deluxe.

Still won't do it. Sorry EA/Dice, you done f'd it up. Had this game pre-ordered but cancelled it after the beta. Yes it was a beta but I could tell that it wasn't the battlefield for me. 

 
Does the Tides of War mode require Xbox Live Gold or PS Plus?  Wondering if I can play that with the paid subscription.
