It's a shame that casual consumers might think that's a good deal, when every game on that list was 30 or less around BF
 
i see potential, wasn;t it a year of two ago ubi game have the same deal and we price matched watch dog 2 for $30 and we still get the gift card

Why would they think its a good deal? Do you think they expected $70 or 80 per game? Just because you dont wait to buy doesnt mean you are brain dead. Lol

Was hoping to get a Switch Pro controller on sale..
When it was on sale last week, my entire state AND Website was sold out.

One store told me another store close by he 4 instock, went to that store.. they were all mysteriously missing.

Is no one doing any promos on Smash? I realize it will sell anyway at full price, but I figured there might be something to get people into their store over a competitor.

If they include Nintendo first party Switch games on that deal it is actually good. If they do not, then it may be around what BF was.

Spider-Man is finally on sale at B.B. next week. If you don’t have GCU, this is a better deal. The $50 gift card isn’t bad. Sure, people would like to save money instead of a $50 gift card, but you can buy groceries at Target and everybody has to eat.

I remember the $50 GC deal last year, where many of the games that qualified we're on sale themselves, so two games were effectively like $25 total after accounting for the GC.
 
The Free 50 dollar gift card would be great depending on what Switch games are on the list..could buy 2 games, use the gift card on an additional game, etc etc so far only seeing Mario Party on the list will see what other ones pop up on Sunday

 
When does the website update in EST? 2 am or 3 am? Hoping for a glitch when transitioning for the promo lol

I ordered something from the site a week and change back and I got the shipping notification on the 4th and it's still in "label created" status but UPS hasn't updated the tracking to where it was actually picked up and in transit yet. Is that normal for Target around the holidays? 4 days seems like a long time.

 
If I am not mistaken, isn't there also a 10% off via Cartwheel deal on video games? I think I saw that in a sneak peek for 12/09's upcoming ad?

Sure is..I ordered a leapfrog book for my nephew..took 3 days for it to go from pre shipment label to it being in the system..the holiday season tends to cause issues with mail delivery give it a few more days

 
Target.com online prices for qualifying $50 gift card games that are lower than the advertised $60 each:

Far Cry 5 :ps4: $45.49

Okay price if you want exactly those two games, I guess.  Unfortunately, there isn't really a great stack with the $50 gift card offer this year unlike last year where you could basically get AC Origins and Fractured But Whole for free with high trade-in values and the $20 off $100 Green Monday stack.

As usual YMMV. But I was able to price match Farcry 5 to Amazon and Battlefield V to newegg. It came out to $67 and change after tax and got the $50 gift card back. Pretty seeet deal.
 
How’s target gonna ask for my approval for an item I order during cyber Monday to be delayed then get cancelled while in transit. That just really annoyed me.
 
Maybe I am alone in this, but I feel like Target is going to do a bitching sale with their app soon.  They were amazing right before Christmas last year.

Did the same with BFV and AC Odyssey, price matched to $30 each. $60 after Red Card and tax, with a $50 gift card back. Electronics guy didn't question it a bit. Outrageous deal.
 
I was able to price match to GS for Battlefield V ($29.99), Madden 19 ($29.99), Far Cry 5 ($24.99) and Mario + Rabbids ($24.99). Had to hit three different stores but they were all close. Amazing deal!
