Quantic Dream Collection PS4 39.99/31.99 GCU @Bestbuy

I wonder if this bundle will ever be discounted. It's currently going for the same as Detroit alone. I'm considering it for $31.99, but if it hits $20 next year I know I'll regret it.

I believe it could be 3 discs but I may be wrong. The release disc set of 2 souls and Heavy Rain was exclusively released for the PAL ver only!

Couldn't find unboxing vid for this collection! Detroit BC is pretty big itself so would make sense if this was a 3 disc collection!

This is similar to the crash spiro bundle. It's basically just a normal copy of detroit, and then a regular copy of heavy rain/beyond two souls which didn't have a US release (with a cardboard sleeve that holds the two blue cases).

This bundle is currently the only way to have a physical US copy of Heavy Rain/Beyond.

 
Hmm. If I ever decide to let ps plus lapse, this would be good to have, as both beyond and HR were given away this year. Can't bring myself to pull the trigger yet though. I'd be very curious to see the unboxing of this thing.

2 cases, three discs. One in Detroit in its own case (identical to old case, but with "Not For Resale" instead of UPC). The second case is a combo Heavy Rain/Beyond Two Souls, with two discs inside, one for each game.

 
So many people on here saying how good these games are, but nobody can back it up by buying this collection to even see if it has 3 discs or mostly digital codes.....so much for "good" games.

Already got beyond two souls and heavy rain for free through ps plus so I won’t jump on this. Would love to have all 3 physically though. Maybe when it’s cheaper than $20 lieutenant Anderson

Hmm, considering HR and B2S had not physical previously and not every retail had this collection i jumped in, it's probably limited amount.

I was going to pay 20 for Detroit so less than 15 for the other 2 is good enough.

Dumbest post I've seen in a while here. Those saying how good these games are already have them, why buy the collection at msrp.

Why buy the collection at MSRP?... it's not even going for full MSRP pricing. Plus it's not like you have never done it before...lol...maybe you meant to say this collection is NOT even worth buying at this REDUCED MSRP price then it would have been an acceptable answer

You know well this collection is already below standard prices and most possibly will go out of stock by scalpers before it drops any further.

So you're saying it makes sense for someone who already owns all three games to buy a collection containing those same games? Put some thought into your posts.

$39.99 is MSRP for this so it is full price. Still a good deal for all 3 games but it is only reduced if you still have GCU.

I own most of these digitally so I'll buy it at some point when it goes on sale

The side of the case makes it look like the subtitle of the set is "Two Souls Collection". That has a nice ring to it.

At first I was annoyed that I imported the UK version already, but seeing the NA version unboxed I feel a little better.  Instead of the fragile swivel thingy in the NA version, the UK version has two disc holders, one on each side of the case.

Thanks for the link - picked it up, had a $5 reward cert and really love the games Quantic dreams pushes out. I totally understand they aren't for everybody but I also imported this earlier this year when I wanted to replay through Heavy Rain (never played the DLC) so glad to support the publisher and add all 3 physical games to the collection!

I don’t care about this particular deal or if it’s worth posting or not, but I find this to be a really foolish statement. When you can no longer accquire GCU, it’s not generally applicable to most people anymore.

Even more so to say it is not MSRP because of that ... I mean seriously, we didn’t spend the last two years claiming every day one release was a “deal” if you had GCU. Why not just go around posting every GS used game as a deal; that’s not MSRP either, but if you want to promote a cheaper game that most people can’t/won’t take advantage of ... bam there you go.

Unfortunately, the DLC for Heavy Rain was not included in the port to PS4. Found this out the hard way after platinuming the game. You’ll have to go back on your PS3 to play the Taxidermist :(

Argh that's dumb. Oh well still worth a replay! Plus need to do another run of Detroit:BC and go opposite my first playthrough.
