$15 off $15+ coupon on Ebay

JohnnyCage

CAGiversary!
When I went on Ebay a red bar popped up at the top of the front page for a $15 off coupon. The code was TAKE15OFF

I used mine on the Spyro Trilogy. Newegg has both versions on sale for $29.99.

eBay must be absolutely desperate to keep their stagnant GMV numbers afloat for their financial reports for them to be effectively giving merchandise away.

Crush 'em, Amazon.

Yeah, fuck competition! I want to pay the highest prices I possibly can!

I got 10% off Fashion and Beauty...message received Ebay, message received.

9 times out of 10, I find the same item I want for cheaper on eBay. No reason to hope for the competition to be knocked out. Next thing you know Amazon will be charging $500 a year for prime because hey, they are the only place you can buy things from anymore once everyone else is gone.

I don't get why people still love Amazon so much... they used to be amazing, they're just like Target/WM now. Hell, in recent months, I've spent way more at Target than I have at Amazon. I even started going to WM again.

I don’t get it either. Their packaging is beyond terrible. Their CS reps are absolutely clueless (I easily know more about their policies and workings then they do, and that’s pathetic.) They ban people for nebulous reasons. Prime has gotten to be pretty damn expensive. No more discounted games now that GCU is gone, and it was a much, much worse program to begin with.

Where’s the appeal?

I can't remember the last time I bought something on Amazon.

Same here I stop shopping at Amazon a while ago.

I got a coupon email just now for 10 off of 30 using my Mastercard. But I dont have a mastercard lol

I was gonna let Amazon lapse but forgot to cancel prime this year, if you can forgo the delivery convenience you can definitely get by with cheaper prices elsewhere. They don't need to give you incentives anymore to get you to stick around

There is no reason, they are just Amazombies.

I got one, but it's $10 off of a purchase of $10.01 or more, the code is TAKETEN.

Surprised I got this, I haven't purchased on eBay in years I think.

I got crapped on big time 2 years ago when I said the same thing. I couldn't figure out why pre-orders were selling out instantly there and up for a while at other retailers like Target. I just don't get the Amazon obsession anymore. They're basically the Walmart of online shopping.

You must like paying more because eBay is cheaper and better

Ebay is everywhere while amazing in many countries has no foot print

I don't like the drop shippers that sell on ebay and then you get a package from Amazon.com which would have been cheaper buying directly from Amazon.

I bought a game that arrived loose in the package and damaged which pissed me off since I had no idea it was coming from Amazon, and then I sent it back and lost out on my $15 off $30 or more which I used at the time. Luckily I had ebay give me $15 off of anything with the "coupon" reactivated and I bought Dragon Quest Heroes II for $1.11.

I could really use a sale on Monster Hunter World for PS4 since I was going to buy it for my nephew for Christmas. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for Switch is too damn expensive.

Not entirely true. People that sell on both actually sell for less on eBay because with an eBay store you do not get rapped in the butt with fees. They already sent it to Amazon, it costs them nothing to ship it out, they have already paid that fee.

Amazon minimum fees are 25% . Where eBay the min-fee can be 4% or less. (To get less the item would have to be very very expensive and the maximum eBay takes on any one sale is 250, where Amazon has no max.)

eBay store owners get a rate of 4 percent when selling consoles, but the cheapest possible rate on software sales is around 8 percent with max discounts.

I buy a lot on Amazon, but only from Amazon sellers and not you drop shipping assclowns buying out discounted stock to make marginal profits and hoping for volume product sales. It's just not a place where a bunch of brain-dead nerds can translate real-life currency into fake digital credit to buy a digital copy of a newly released weeb remaster for 40% off MSRP with their yearly subscription fee discount.

Ebay is where you go if you don't mind your item being fake or foreign or refurbished, or having been in the vicinity of a dirty crotch. I don't want to know what the previous owner did to the amiibos I bought off there last month.

I'm sure you would get caught lol. They want their money
You say that, but I have been doing it for years. If you give them their store blood money every month and you're good to customers they don't care what you do.

Swastikas are banned from eBay (except for money and stamps) and I had my grandfathers stuff I sold one there, and still got that though. I had people messaging me asking how it was staying up because they were collectors and could never keep anything on eBay.

I didn't get the $15 coupon, but I did get the $5 one so I was at least able to save some money on something I wanted.

It's funny because it gave me the coupon code and when I tried to check out, it said that it was already used.  I called customer support and explained the issue to them.  They added another $5 coupon to my account which worked.

Afterwards, I realized I probably could have told him that I was supposed to have the $15 coupon and maybe he would have given me a $15 coupon instead.  Oh well.  Someone else may want to give it a shot if they're feeling dishonest.  :shame:
