I'm a bit shocked that Target actually offered me something useful. I received a coupon for $10 off $50+ purchase in Target circle (though the exclusions were a mile long) and then used it on this Sandisk 512GB microSD card which I price matched with Best Buy at $54.99:

Not sure where to post this, so guess I'll put it here.

 

I learned today that if you buy something using Target Circle rewards and then return the item, the rewards used are not refunded to your account. They are treated like a coupon and simply disappear.

Circle points do return to your account after some time. The return rep at Target fed me false info. Thanks to eXTechno for clarifying.

If they do indeed come back, that's a good way of extending the expiration date

game wise the only things you can use it on are ps4 and xbox titles and that's it. 

 

it'd be nice if it stacked with gift cards so you could get some on sale on the 4th with that other promo they will have.

They actually do it every December around this time. I thought the one last month (or two months ago) was the one that was out of the ordinary.

 

Either way, I save an extra 5% over the redcard so I'll take it.

On topic: the 10% off (for 12/4 and 12/5) Target gift card deal stacks with the Discover card 5% only online.

the discover 5% should stack because discover has no idea what you're buying from target. i already maxed out my discover 5% for this period though

Last day of Target giftcards being 10% off and the video game giftcards are B1G1 15% off today only.

believe you can still use the Target giftcard to buy the video giftcards, so you could get, for example, $100 in video game giftcards for $83.25 out of pocket.

2 $50 @ B1G1 15% = $92.5

$92.5 in Target giftcard value at 10% off =$83.25


Edit..I could be wrong but I do recall being able to use one last year to get PS space bucks.

That happens a lot. Sometimes the item will come back in stock but you'll still get the emails, which means your order is now in limbo and there's nothing they can do. Just keep prolonging the delivery date until they either fulfill your order or cancel on you anyway, then complain to customer service and you might get a gift card to make up for the price difference and order again.

Ditto, for the 2 Star Wars Nintendo Switch bundles games.  I called them but alas, nothing didn't offer any options other than buying the games (only 1 of the 2 in stock) at full price vs the B2G1 offer they were part of.  I've not had a single VG preorder go through w/Target.  Always some reason or other that they cancel it. I think I've learned my lesson, don't use Target for VG preorders.

Target preorders are hit or miss. Once you start getting delay mails, you should start looking at other options. Though I would say 25-30% of the times, a delayed item may ultimately get delivered  as well

doesnt target usually have a bunch of games on sale for 50% right now? I went to a target and came across a bunch of random games. i scanned a couple and some did ring up at 50% off. Hades for xbox, and the last drgaon quest game and ary secret of seasons were 50% off. didnt scan any more. there was no bin like other years
