There’s a mk11 krypt glitch...press a to enter the krypt, keep holding a the whole time go to the part of the krypt with the heads on the wall and walk up to one of the chest and it will unlock...u gotta hold a the whole time. After it unlocks you can exit the krypt and try it again.

It worked for me the first time and I was able to do a few more, you unlock 5 items each chest.

I did it yesterday but only once (to get the "Skull Kabob" achievement) but I'm kinda worried NRS decides to ban people since they have to ability to see if you have met all the requirements to unlock the shit.

I'm pretty sure they won't do it as it would look bad considering the rewards and Towers of Time fiasco but you never now. Best case scenario, they're working on a way to kill the glitch and call it a day.

Wargroove has what sounds like a pretty long story mode, it also has a pretty powerful map creator that people can even add dialogue and creations are shared across all platforms.

If you're looking for a great story, I cant recommend Injustice 2 enough. I thought it was just long enough for a fighting game, plus the controls are simple enough to learn. The Multiverse is also a great feature, and a great way to learn the different characters. Just remember that you can create an A.I. load out if you wish, and have the computer do the hard work of leveling your characters for you.

Outside of that, UMVC3 is a great one, and Dragon Ball FighterZ is easy to learn and difficult to master, which is always nice. I know Tekken 7 and Soul Calibur 6 have their fanbases, I just haven't given them a try yet.

If you're looking for older generation, Regular/Super/Ultra Street Fighter 4 is BC, and there is the Street Fighter Collection as well. Cant go wrong with Darkstalkers either. Oh, and cant forget about the Blazblue series, if DBFZ is something you like.

And of course, there's always....SKULLGIRLS!!!

Yeah, that's a nice little sampler list.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll check out UMvC3 for sure.

Say what you will about our GWG this month. But PS+ getting just Overcooked and Edith Finch and I’d say we have a win.

Golf Club 2019 alone trumps that IMO.

Grabbed that war game, something “4”.

Starpoint Gemini 2 is lowest ever...that any good? Heading over to check YouTube.

How is the Sudden Strike 4 game. Looks interesting for $10 just looking for impression. Is it like command and conquer or something else

Those are both good games....though they have been on sale a million times so most people who care already have them...

Still not caring that I let my PS plus sub slip 6 months ago...

Don't need online multiplayer ability to enjoy the exclusives that are good across the isle when they are all single player. :)

Yeah after the last couple months I probably won't be renewing my PS+ sub, discounts on the first party stuff were well worth it but own all of them now

Yep. Planning on ditching PS+ as well. Don’t buy enough for the discounts, free games have been weak and don’t play multiplayer of anything on my PS4.

I bought PS Plus on Black Friday last year, and I immediately remembered why I hadn't bothered - Sony's bass ackwards policy of not letting you purchase games that you claimed as Plus games until the subscription runs out.  Microsoft gives you the choice of spending your own money to own an Xbox One game just in case your Gold runs out.

Go ask for help around that policy on the PSN forum and you'll get PS fanboys telling you that's the way things are and Xbox' system is the one that doesn't make sense.

I know I asked before, but I can find the old replies: I need a fighting game fix and I don’t know what to play. I have Killer Instinct with season 1 and 2 from GWG, then there’s Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, and MK X on game pass. I’m not a competitive online type, just looking for something fun in single player and maybe online against some friends.

What’s does the thread recommend?

Defintely check out DarkStalkers and BlazBlue (any version honestly) like the other guy said as well, but do you access to Xbox 360? Not everything he mentioned is backwards compatible.

Some fun not so mainstream fighting games on Xbox that I play consistently

Ragnagard

Galaxy Fight Universal Warriors

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, or P4A if no xbox 360

Waku Waku 7

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core plus

Fighting Vipers

Fatal Fury Special but Garou Mark of the wolves is on gamepass, great game

Samurai Shodown V Special was just released couple weeks ago, but I do like 4 (and 2 too!)

Throw in Last Blade 2 while I'm at it.

Other "fun" but more known titles

Soul Calibur 2

KOF XIII

DBZ Budokai HD Collection

Dead or Alive 4

NEOGEO Battle Coliseum

Super Turbo Street Fighter HD Remix or whatever (I remember when they released that online beta!)

SF3 hells yes

Random titles that I enjoyed but have never heard anyone outside of Youtube talk about

World Heroes 2

Ninja Masters

Karnov's Revenge

Savage Reign and Kizuna Encounter (sequel) I have as a combo on PS4, both are available on xbox

Those ACA Neogeo games will have features to the fighting genre not typically found in those mainstream ones, its a very refreshing change-up.

I only paid for PS+ earlier this year by accident because my trial ended. Was debating buying a year for sales, but oof, their sales have been lackluster this year to say the least. Especially when factoring in Xbox Rewards and getting free money and not taxed on Xbox for digital stuff compared to PlayStation. On that note, been playing Horizon Zero Dawn and that game is a hoot.

The first month I'd say is actually pretty good for me on Gamepass. I've been wanting to check out Wolf 2, Wargroove, Surviving Mars, and Black Desert.

I've been on the fence every time Surviving Mars has been on sale, excellent.

Was asking Microsoft Rewards about Game Pass Quests and they said I should have them. This is what they showed me:

Minecraft- Defeat a Ravager to earn points – 100 points
Sea of Thieves - Complete two achievements to earn points 200  points
Just Cause 4 Complete two achievements to earn points- 200 points
Play ID@Xbox to earn points- Earn points when you get 4 achievements in ID@Xbox games- 400 points
Play Ball! -Swing, throw, bat, get out there and earn points- 300 points
Play new games and earn points- Get achievements in the recently added games for points- 100 points

Do I have to to these in order? How long do I have to do these?

This is a great list of lesser-known and interesting fighting games, but I think he was asking for an opinion on only the 4 games he mentioned as he had access to those.

Not every single person who frequents this thread is old enough to be allowed to like Golf yet. I realize the vast majority are however.

How old were you when Tiger Woods 99 came out (one of the best golfing games)? Play it on PC!  And what about 2004 to 2006 Tiger Woods PGA Tour versions? Fantastic games. Age has nothing to do with enjoying a video game, especially a mainstream sport one.  Not to mention Golden Tee in just about every Arcade.

There are golfing teams in high schools, I'd imagine even lower nowadays.

Being "exposed" to a sport can come at any age, I'm still ignorant to Cricket, but I know a 7 year old who knows how to play it and everything. What does age have to do with a sport lol.

Is Golf Club rated M for Mature?

I think I got too excited and jumped to my list after reading the reply suggest other fighting games. Bah humbug, hopefully he does some research and one or two games wins him over to try something new (or old!)

He should skip those 4, and go with KOF or Garou Mark of the Wolves on Gamepass lol.

You do not have to complete them in order and as of today - 33 days. When you complete them you have to go to MS Rewards and go to the specific Quest Tile you completed and claim your points. It is not automatic.

I'm surprised there is no Quest Master for completing all the quests.

Thanks for the recommendations. I’ll definitely give KOF a shot. Never actually played a game in the series.

Also, I second everything you said about golf. My oldest son got hooked on golf at about 9 months old just crawling after the golf balls I would putt across the living room. Eight years later now and he loves playing.
