I thought Celeste was good. But, was I willing to stress myself over a free indy, pixelated, hards-as-nails platformer? Hell no.
Turned on ALL the cheats (infinite stamina and invincibility) and just breezed through it. Still missing the B-sides on chapters 5, 6 and 7 (well and 8 but it seems you can't play it until you've beaten the previous ones and collect all the crystal hearts).
Does that automatically turns me into a "filthy casual" for not playing it "the right way"? Don't know, don't care.
By the way, it seems the rumors of Ronda Rousey playing a younger version of Sonya Blade in MK11 might be true after all (she apparently did mokap, facial likeness and maybe even voice). She posted her invitation for tomorrow's reveal event on IG. We'll find out tomorrow I guess.

Well, I did some further "research" and it seems she will only voice her. Which to me is a bummer because Tricia Helfer did a great job in MKX. But with MK11 having time travel, then..... who knows what they're gonna go. Hell, it all might be hogwash and she was just invited to the event for being Ronda Rousey.

I love all the bandwagon haters. You all shit talking a game that we've barely seen. I'm not going to preorder it because I'm a CAG and paying full price is for chumps. That said, dragging a game before it's even out makes it that much harder for companies to even try pushing out new IPs. Instead we'll keep getting BLops29 and generic RPG 33.
The game is out in about 5 weeks, when should we expect better than "barely seen"? Personally I'm all for new IP and if EA thinks THAT is the issue if the game flops they are even dumber than we thought. There are a lot of factors that have turned people on Anthem. If the issues I'm seeing turn out to be false and the game is great than I'll give it a shot, but for now I'm basing my opinion on what we know about EA as a publisher and what Bioware has been able to well and poorly in their past games.
Even if your IP argument carries weight, EA treats their established IP like shit, and usually abandons it once they've managed to run its reputation into the ground. See Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, Medal of Honor for recent examples. I think Mass Effect can probably be put on this list now regardless of what Casey Hudson says, and even Star Wars seems to be on it's way there somehow.

My initial reaction - smiling and then raising my hand to rub my forehead. When the eff am I gonna have time to play all these games added to game pass??? Microsoft is really killing it when it comes to bringing varied & awesome titles to game pass.My poor backlog...

Regarding the Mortal Kombat 11 Rousey thing - so long as she does a good job, I don't give AF honestly. Sign up Barack Obama to voice Jax Briggs for all I care. Long as its believable & draws me into the MK universe, I'm satisfied. Can't wait for the official Mortal Kombat 11 reveal tomorrow!!!!
Barack Obama as the voice of Jax..... interesting. But I'm afraid Jax's dead. He died in Jacqui's ending, in Sonya's ending and it is implied in Erron Black's ending. Yes, most of the arcade ladder endings are "What ifs" but some do end up leading to future plot points (like Scorpion's ending in Deadly Alliance being canon in Deception).
But I'm with you, all I want is an awesome game, regardless of who voices who.

I can connect to the rewards site, but not the forums. Some other MS sites are also having trouble. Gears forums, messages can't load on XBL profile page, either Major Nelson's site got a bit of a redesign or it's not able to retrieve some formatting info.

Not sure if this was mentioned earlier in the thread, but I saw a (targeted?) offer/ad on the dashboard for Game Pass that just said "Play A Game", and apparently playing one Game Pass game will net you a $5 gift card. Nothing to opt into, no way to track it, should just recieve it in the messages in about 4 weeks.
That ad just brings me to the gold store page with the GWG, DWG and sub extension options.
