yeah they've been very yymv lately. I went in store last week to pm For Honor March Fire for $9.99 on newegg and they said the system wouldn't let them pm that low from $59.99. And then I had zero issue with bb chat.

Funny thing is there's nothing in their "price match policy" saying this, I even had to explain it to a supervisor and all he wanted was a Case ID showing me when they price matched an on sale item before. Needless to say after a half an hour I was done trying to explain it to them and even told them to show me where it said they don't price match "weekly ads", they couldn't find it obviously.

IKR I was chatting with someone saying ummm things go on sale weekly?? How do you NOT match an ad? They must be getting flooded with pm request now.

Make sure to check different store zip codes. I had mine set a store that had it in stock but the zip code I gave them said it was store pick up only. Got it to go thru on my 3rd try.

They asked for mine too and had no trouble with none in the area. They even added the steelbook(wasnt originally on my order either) and they didnt have eevee in stock at my store and just changed it to shipping. Maybe i got lucky cause I did it as soon as I woke up.

The game is Pokemon Yellow version remade for the Nintendo Switch using Pokemon Sun and Moon as a base. Some later additions to the series like abilities and held items were dummied out and your player character is not Red or Blue from the original Gameboy games. Two versions are available: Pikachu and Eevee. Outside of the partner Pikachu/Eevee the Pokemon availability is the same as in Red and Blue respectively with a couple tweaks so that the starter Pokemon and Safari Zone Pokemon are rare spawns. Mewtwo is the only Pokemon encountered in normal gameplay you can only get one of. 

 

The Pokemon Go connections are not as big as people think. Wild Pokemon battles are replaced with a catching system inspired by Pokemon go. In handheld mode the analog stick and buttons are used to aim and throw Pokeballs while in docked mode motion control is required with no Pro Controller support. Pretty much the Safari Zone from the original game with some waggle mechanic. Speaking of the Safari Zone, it was replaced with a transfer facility to bring over Kanto Pokemon from Pokemon Go in a one way transfer. A Pokemon Go exclusive Meltan and it's evolution Melmetal can only be obtained through that method.

Articuno zapdos and moltres are also only 1 of.  Then there's snorlax you can only get 2 of.

Starters you get 1 of each for free from officer jenny in vermillion city which you get squirtle, the girl gives bulbasaur in cerulean and a guy gives charmander north of the nugget bridge for cerulean. Oh and you can get 1 magikarp from the guy at mt moon iirc but you have to pay for that.

not true. Since I had Articuno and Zapdos before the elite 4 fight... And you can get Moltres as well.

 

Now, if you search youtube, they do spawn post game also cause people have doubles.

I already purchased Pikachu for my son (Christmas). He has been busy playing Fortnite, Ark and now Anthem. I was going to ask the group what are the differences between the two games. Used Google and found this:

I did the same, a lot of people suggest getting Eevee.
All of the Pokémon can be traded, I need to do that at some point for a few, and all of them can be transferred from Pokémon Go as well.
In the end it really doesn’t matter, really depends on who you want as your “partner” Eevee sitting on your head, or Pikachu on your shoulder. Both can be caught in the wild.


Edit: something I have not figured out though.. if I have Eevee and I buy Pikachu (cheap someday) how does that work on the same account? Share the Pokédex? Trade between them? Complete separation?

One of the big reasons I stayed away from Pokémon games.. hate how they release 2 versions at the same time.

So when you’re trying a BB price match, do you purchase, then ask for the match? Or talk to chat about a match, and then the purchase is set up? Never price matched there before.

Be sure to get the rep to confirm the match before you make the order. After that, they can do either ... the associate can process the transaction in the chat or you can buy, provide order number and get a refund. I wanted to do in store pick up and get the steelbook, so to make sure that happened I decided to place the order and get refunded.

Called Best Buy, they price matched me for the Eevee Version. I got the steelbook as well, it was automatically added to the order. The rep told me he couldn't see the price on their website, but he matched it by searching for the weekly ad.

Thanks OP. I placed order on BB.com to get steelbook and use store pickup. Called customer service for price adjustment. Now have both games, 1 steelbook and 2 pokeballs. Not sure if I used process correctly to get the $1 off.
