Ten years ago, this game launched to largely positive reception. Over the years, due to server shutdowns and an eventual lack of interest, the game was mostly forgetten. To many, myself included, it's considered to be one of the best licensed games ever made.

What do you guys think of this? I still remember Dan Aykroyd pre-recorded message that he sent out to people who pre ordered.

Never played it but I thought about trying it out. I just don't understand why they are remastering it when it was never that popular to begin with.

 
I suppose, remastered version worth it for the devs and it's quite easy than developing a new game from the scratch. 

 
Not sure how a remaster is going to work on the Switch. Wouldn't it essentially be a 360  port?   Prolly get some 1080 upscaled on the other consoles.

 
Sounds good. I almost bought Oblivion the other day...havent played it, but then I told myself this is coming out later this year anyway so Ill just wait. Im excited though
