KNOCKOFF Switch Pro Controller $22.39 (Xenoblade and Splatoon editions)

These are good knockoffs. It feels like the real pro controller. Only downside is it doesn't have the amiibo feature regardless of what the description says

No they are actually completely wireless. They are JUST like a pro controller. WulffDen on YouTube just did a video about them today. The only complaint is the joysticks aren't calibrated the absolute best. The motion control is great though.

I checked out the referenced video just now.  To summarize, the controller physically feels completely identical to the regular switch pro controller, but the quality control sucks.  Right on the dpad literally didn't work on his controller, and the thumbstick calibration was poor/different.  Vibration was hyper aggressive, the home button didn't wake the system, but the motion controls were surprisingly accurate.

I personally wouldn't purchase one of these expecting a Pro controller.  I'd do it just to display on a shelf or something, and if it also happened to function decently, it would be a nice bonus.

Long delivery times though, I'm assuming these don't come from the U.S. Is anybody selling these on eBay?
Aliexpress is a front for Alibaba, the largest retailer in China. Most, if not everything, on the site is Chinese and of Chinese manufacture drop shipped from the factory that produces it.

If you want Pro controller quality, but don't want to pay a premium for special edition controllers you can actually just get a black one and replace the grips easily with different colored options that are pretty cheap on Amazon.  It is a good option for customization if you would prefer first party reliability but don't want all your controllers to look the same (I did it so my boys can tell the difference in their controllers since they are paired to each of their Switches).

I was considering ordering this, but after watching the review on YouTube, I just can't bring myself to do it.  Sounds like a very hit or miss product that may work fine or may not and I'm not trying to work with someone in China to get a refund/exchange if it turns out to be a dud.
