Captain Marvel - Blu-ray - $22.99 @ Best Buy (pre-order)

This is the only Marvel movie I haven't watched or bought yet, haven't heard anything good about it, might wait till this drops to clearance prices.

It's a fun little sci-fi story that doesn't break any molds, but does have some FANTASTIC performances by Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn (who you can clearly tell was having the time of his life) that really make it worth watching.

They just hate the idea of a woman being the most powerful superhero in the MCU, literally stopping Thanos twice by herself.

 
I really liked the movie. One of my favorite Marvel movies. I've enjoyed almost every Marvel movie, some more than others (not a huge fan of the two Ant Man movies, sadly) and this makes my top 10 for sure.

That's what I didnt understand about Endgame, she makes like a 5 min appearance in the start then in the end, then didn't do anything except get a butch haircut. Adding her was like an afterthought!

The only drawback of Carol is that she's TOO powerful. I mean, overcharged up she could have laid waste to Thanos' troops pretty much by waving her hands around.

In a team effort, she's a supergun. As shown in the film, she took down the purple chinsack all by her lonesome twice. Girl didn't even FLINCH when he tried to take her on in the finale. Punk had to pull a stone from his gauntlet to even move her.

There's a reason Fury had her on speed dial as a scorched-earth last resort--she's ultra-tough. Too much so just for ordinary earth supervillains. It's why she left for most of the movie--she was off saving entire planets from destruction and getting the Skrulls back in order.

Transformers and Fast & the Furious movies made billions, doesn't make them good. I enjoyed Captain Marvel but that doesn't make it a great movie.
