Too Human FREE on XBLA

Bro thanks.
I still have this factory sealed.
Time to try it out. I was just playing Eschatos on my 360 with my son. Haven’t turned it on in a while.

Funny story but an ex of mine picked this game up for me on disc years ago for like $3. We broke up before she could give it to me though. We still keep in touch and I was always hoping she'd find it somewhere and mail it to me or something but this works too.

Am I the only one that liked this game? Have the disk but free digital is good too. Thanks OP.
A friend and I followed it up to its release and both bought it day one. It's a very mixed bag of a game but its fun if you go into it with the right mindset. A big chunk of the hate I think is that most people were expecting a God of War/Devil May Cry type of game and got a Twin Stick Diablo and were confused/disappointed. I still hold out a small shred of hope that someday someone will pick up the IP and we get some sort of continuation but I'm not holding my breath.

Another person that enjoyed the game back in the day. Kinda reminded me of PSO with it's simplicity (though not nearly as good). Idk, never loved it, but enjoyed my time with it enough. Will probably have a totally different opinion revisiting it lmao.

That story would have been a lot funnier if you said, “We broke up after she gave it to me and a tried it out. I realized she didn’t love me then.”

I’m surprised because this game was outright delisted after the lawsuit. Surprised to see it back, surprised it’s free, and surprised it’s backward compatible.

Keep in mind that this, along with 20something other games, are the last that will ever be made backwards compatible.

No. They're shifting resources to work on BC for Anaconda/Lockhart.

Then what do you mean “no”? I think it’s pretty clear from the context that I was referring to the last games to be made backwards compatible for Xbox One.
Probably that they are done with re-engineering BC X360/OG Xbox games, period. On Scarlett, XB1 games will be considered BC titles and will fulfill their BC claims. There is no way they are going to continue the expensive and resource-consuming process of making these games playable on the current gen architecture.

Seems pretty simple to me. They need to make sure all 3000+ games that run on Xbox One also run fine on the new console before continuing to make more things BC. There's no reason why they'd make any additional games only run on Scarlett though. ;)

It took three attempts for this game to run... the first two times it stuck on a white screen. After that I discovered that the game was some weird pastiche of Nordic mythology and grim cybernetic technology. It's not two great tastes that taste great together. Gameplay is likewise muddled... it's kinda like God of War and kinda like Devil May Cry, with the right joystick working as a sword swing, or to aim your gun with the right trigger held down. Maybe I'll enjoy it more after I invest some more time with it.
