Damn, I'd buy this for Switch if it were $20. AC3 is towards the bottom of the series for me, but I would like to have an AC game on Switch.

Same here, I would have loved to pick up the Switch version. Guess I will wait for another deeper sale on Switch.

 
Best to wait for the Odyssey gold edition to go on sale. You get AC3 and some other AC remaster to go with it. Bummed I missed the $33 sale in May :cry:

 
Fwiw, Assassin's Creed Odyssey Gold Edition (ps4) is $39.99 until Aug. 6th . You get AC3 remastered and Liberation remastered with the AC Odyssey Season pass (all DLC) that comes with the Gold Edition.

 
Ubisoft did kind of fix the fucked up lighting that made faces extremely pale.

Anyways, the Switch port is just the last gen versions with better framerates. Though still not a stable 30fps.  Also audio is compressed.

I don't know about the Switch version, but the X1/PS4 version was patched not that long ago to give the characters their flesh tone back. It does look noticeably better.

 
Not sure where to post this but I see that the gold edition is on sale at Best Buy and it qualifies for “no-hurry” shipping. First time I saw this.. does anyone know what the benefit of no hurry shipping is other than waiting a week?

Not sure there is a benefit to the No Hurry shipping at Best Buy, unless you know you will be out of town for a few days and would rather delay the shipment instead of having it sent when no one is home.

 
Thought so. I didn’t buy it so I couldn’t confirm. With the season pass dropping every other week on PSN I think the physical will drop more. Too bad Best Buy couldn’t throw in a dollar discount
 
Really lame question, can you just purchase the season pass and get Liberation and III without buying the base game?
