DEAD: Target Zelda dreamer edition back in stock

Only if you add two Switch Lites to your cart and then talk about how your cousin’s friend got the deal from an email ... and you have to spin around 3 times.

Thank you CAG!   BB cancelled my original order of this despite me preordering the second it was up, so I am very happy to snag this.  My order is placed.

Knowing Target lately, this was probably an inventory mistake and all orders will be cancelled. Then, some of you will head straight to the chat support and demand to be compensated for your emotional damage.

Just got my shipping notice, and my order is due on Monday, so let's hope they package better than most. Thanks Again OP!

Got a shipping notice as well, though mine's coming on Tuesday. Target tends to do a decent job with packaging, but it's been awhile since I ordered a game from them, so we'll see what shape it'll be in when it arrives...

The art book is pretty nice and I love that it came with an outer box... But j sure wish the spine of the box had the game name on it.

Honestly, I’m glad i cancelled it after finding out Europe has steelbook.....I got it from Europe instead, same price

I thought about ordering two because of that same reason, I'll find out later, its coming via FedEx.
That was my idea with Amazon. They shipped me 3 in a bubble mailer. Got 20% off after pushing through to a manager. Sold them hoping for a mint one this time, and I was lucky that Target sent it in a box

Received in a box barely big enough for it but it arrived in great shape!!!

Got mine in. Target sent it in a bubble mailer and the outer box is pretty badly dented -_- Not sure yet if I should return it, though, given how hard it's been to find.
Yeah, that sucks for sure, as it still boggles my mind how places send something like this in a bubble mailer. The outer box is cool, but for this item I mostly wanted the book, so a damaged box wouldn't be the end of my world, so long as the book isn't damaged. If the box is key to you, returning it means no replacement I'm sure, as these are sold out.

You could try to get some type of discount through customer service, and then try to maybe buy just the box down the road on Ebay on the cheap. I'm sure some will buy this for just the book and then offer just the box and maybe the game on there own at some point.

Did better than that: my husband was in Manhattan today for a tech conference, so I asked him to check Nintendo NY later (we live in NJ, but hardly ever go into the city). They still had copies! The front of the box has a couple of tiny spots where the printed image chipped off, but it's way better than the one I got from Target, which is definitely going to be returned now.

One interesting thing he learned from a Nintendo NY staffer is that even they had gotten damaged copies in. Apparently, a bunch of them were banged up before they left the warehouse. Nintendo should really invest in sturdier boxes for these sorts of releases...

Yeah, that NY store always gets crazy amounts of quantities, especially compared to most normal retain chain stores. Why "N" can't offer stuff like this before hand through their website to gauge demand is always a mind boggler for me, ALWAYS!

Congrats on getting that better copy, as you had access to the one place on that planet that probably had copies of this version left.

Was able to get one late last night from amazon after you posted. Won't ship until Nov for some reason.  Should have just ordered more from bestbuy with GCU.  Wonder if these are somehow damaged boxes that found their way back to "new" status.  My bestbuy order had slightly crushed edges.

Does a copy exist without some damage to the boxes? I might have kept my Best Buy ones - they weren't AWFUL (definitely not "perfect"), but the sides had been hit with a box cutter. Maybe there was more of a shot of getting a decent Dreamer edition than the EU CE. I considered the EU CE, but there may have been one close-to-perfect one on Ebay the last time I looked. Nintendo does not think of durability. And I did open one of my Dreamer editions thinking I'd just keep the art book. The art book had a corner that looked more smashed than the box.

Got a pretty much mint copy of links awakening euro ce from a seller on ebay. No dings on the box whatsoever except that the really thin outer plastic cover is nearly split on some corners because of how stretched they are.

You might be seeing the NEW one I shipped back earlier this week. It shipped from Amazon in no box or bubble mailer - it was the game itself with a UPS sticker attached. Wish I could upload photos of how bad it looked. I'll live without it before keeping a NEW copy of something that looks like it was picked out of the trash.
