Started playing it last night, it's different.  The controls are a bit weird even if your using a controller.  Game seems all right though.

Why would an Epic store deal belong in a Steam Deals topic?

That's like YMMV Walmart deals in the target topic.

Well, it's actually now "Steam+", meaning "Steam-Plus" other stores.

Explanation incoming.

We (the CAG Posters that post a lot of PC deals & regulars posting in the Steam Deals thread) did also have threads for IndieGala, Gamersgate, Groupees, Amazon PC DVG (Amazon PC Digital Video Games) and other digital PC stores back in the day - but none of those really got the traction the Steam deals thread did. And it was mostly, the same crew posting in all of these threads; yeah, across numerous threads.

So, the idea was to combine them all into one big thread. Steam Deals by far got the most buzz and traction...so hence, the evolution of the thread, becoming "Steam+" (Steam-Plus); meaning Steam plus any other digital stores.

I forgot who it was that came up w/ the idea or of it was a community-decided thing? Anyone remember and/or want to clarify?

Anyways...Our Humble, Fanatical, GOG Threads still gets decent amounts of traction, so those still have their own threads. Humble gets the most probably, other than the Steam+ deals thread.

Though, I do like Fanatical and GOG myself...so, I tend to make a fair amount of posts in those threads still and keep them alive. Others do post here & there and post deals there too, as those places still have solid deals.

Yes, I think it is!

I really enjoyed it for its graphics, story, atmosphere, trippy-ness, music and Rutger Hauer (RIP).

Long-winded Steam review of mine here - https://steamcommuni...ommended/514900

I understand everything you're touching on here and it seems logical, but it does make the site look dead to the casual visitor which may not be a good thing in the long run.

The other thing is: we'd lose threads in the shuffle, having to even bookmark or find them numerous some pages back...b/c they wouldn't get bumped-up. A lot of places, especially in recent years, ain't been having that great of deals on the PC, in our opinions. A lot of the better deals, have been coming from Bundle Sites, IMHO - like Fanatical and Humble. Threads based on gaming stores on PC...just would die out.

And sometimes, there'd be cross-posts from Steam Thread to others...or from other thread(s) to Steam Thread to highlight a game that has a Steam-version being sold, since a lot of 3rd party digital stores back then - and maybe still do, BTW - sell Steam-versions.

Granted, Steam Sale Thread never got lost in the shuffle, even without the Steam-Plus part added to it; it's always bumped on Page 1, so it seems. Even now, it's always quite active; probably even more so, as we're posting a lot of stuff in there besides Steam deals.

There are other threads on this forum besides the Steam one? Who knew?

The wife and I beat observer_  the ending was quite unsatisfying and the game overall is about a 6/10.  (My wife's a huge horror game fan)

I am not sure why smaller companies insist on the push/pull the door mechanics, its becomes tedious and fast.

Are you talking about CAG or the Epic Store?  Hard to tell.

Applies to any site. The more stuff that gets hidden away the less active it looks. Seems like at the very least it should be its own forum instead of a thread.
