GameStop DotD 11/7 - Buy an EON Adapter, get the matching system free + B1G1 Free Retro Games

Got both castlevania iv and contra iii for $35ish shipped. Nice! I'm tempted by some of these top tier nes games. 100 each is insane but 50 each is something I can stomach.

Now to hope it's not repro stuff... If it is, I can return in store right?

Yeah, you can return with the packing slip to any local gamestop

I also don't like the roll of the dice on whether or not retro games will come with any basic accessories whatsoever, like even the case for a disc-based game

I've ordered cartridge games from Gamestop when they've done similar sales in the past. All the games I've received were mostly in good shape and authentic. I would just avoid buying obvious targets for repros like Pokemon games.

There a way to better filter these retro games? i keep finding ones i want but they arent in stock. this website is such trash now...

It only took me 2 hours... but I settled on copies of Secret of Evermore and Breath of Fire plus a Dungeons & Dragons shirt for $40. As long as the carts look good thats a pretty good deal.

Decided to pick up The Division for XB1 with in-store pickup. $3 is my just right CAG price. After pro discount and applying a GC, only had to pay a whole $.02 difference.

anyone get anything?

These Eon adapters dont really go on sale that often so I decided to grab an N64 one. Ordered a teal n64 with it, hopefully can just sell that locally to recoup costs.

Maybe Ill even get a matching controller, but I doubt it.

Yeah, I grabbed five NES and one Genesis game. All together full price they were $140.00, with the B1G1 free promo, my pro discount, and CAG16 promo, I wound up paying a little over $64 after sales tax.

This was my first time really shopping using Gamestop's new website and it was a miserable experience. Half of Gamestop's retro inventory is out of stock and the new site has no way of filtering those games out, so I had to quick view each game I had half an interest in to see if I could actually buy it. Then when I was ready to checkout, I decided to redeem my pro reward points for a $10 off coupon. Except I couldn't; the rewards system outright refused to redeem my points. After an hour of waiting to see if Gamestop would sort their shit out, I gave up and decided to checkout. Except now I couldn't; one of the games in my cart was now out of stock. And of course Gamestop's website wouldn't tell me which one or even just automatically remove the game from my cart. The error message told me I had to manually remove the game or games in my cart that were out of stock. And of course none of the games listed in my cart are linked to their product page so I could bop back and forth, I had to remove each item from my cart one at a time until the cart error message went away. Then I had to go back out and hunt down the games I removed from my cart again until I found the game that was out of stock and pick a substitute.

I got my games at the end, but I was legit angry when I was done. Just the sum of all those little annoyances at that site. What was Gamestop thinking with that redesigned site.

Same thing happen to me. Although I foundout that if you just click the + sign to add an extra copy of the game itll pop an error message for the one that is not in stock, while the others will simply just add another copy.
