Arcadia doesn’t make much sense right now especially with the $200 consoles with games on Black Friday. I could see it making sense next year once new consoles come out for $500 and games that can’t be played on PS4 and Xbox One drop and then you have the option to play on Stadia instead. That’s the only way I can see it mattering.

People use Project XCloud to play games coop, so one person plays on the Xbox and the other person uses the phone right next to them on the couch.

The Video Game awards are as relevant as all awards shows, which is to say, not at all.

Harry's Razors went against everything they stood for and sold out to big razor. Don't praise them for being liars and sellouts. They became everything they supposedly stood against. fuck Harry's Razors. fuck them in their stupid asses.

Cheapy, you should definitely look into getting the Oculus Quest. There probably won't be any big discounts anytime soon due to it's popularity, but they are throwing in the Vader Immortal trilogy for free through January. With the new "link" feature just added it also can hook up to your VR-ready PC with a cable so you can play all the Rift and Oculus PC games as well.

For a system you can set up in just a few minutes it's easy to bring out when needed without having crap all over your house, and also many of the games are a good workout. (Maybe Wombat would like one as it may be a more fun exercise than the bike.)

Last point that may tip this for you....they got table tennis (Racket Fury) you can play online against others. The reviews left by experienced table tennis players say it's pretty good. (It's also on PSVR, but better apparently with no cables to tangle you up.)

Your discussion of Stadia was too funny. You guys often come up with convoluted reasons to explain the obvious: they made bad decisions! This wasn't some Brewster's Millions/The Producers scenario where they're going to get more money for making a bad product. You were saying "Phil Harrison his involved with this, he would have to know these ideas are bad!" Guys, the last two console launches Harrison worked on were the PS3 and the Xbox One. Dude launched one console at $599 and took rumble out of controllers saying people don't like rumble, and then launched the next console with mandatory Kinect, a mandatory internet connection, and no used games. It's not shocking that he is involved with another suck-ass console launch! Maybe this dude (and the Stadia team) just have some bad ideas!

Will love it when your kids hit preteen/teen years. Their friends will be all over your podcast. It is awkward when the kids come up quoting you. It will happen.
