Target: The Outer Worlds for $35

OK Target, you win, $35 is by far the best price for this game so far, I just got a Redcard and am so glad I waited for this deal!

I decided to pick one up.  If anyone else has this for cheaper in the next few days I'll just return the Target one.

Thanks. Knocked off 2/3 of my daughter’s game list (this and Monster Hunter) and completely removed Target from my Black Friday to do list.

I feel like this was a Red Card Holder-only deal.

When I checked Target's site late yesterday, it showed up as $34.99 with a Red Card indicator.

Currently, at 6:46AM on 11/28/19, it's showing normal price.

True, but all the early access games showed that (the red Card indicator), including the ones that are still on sale today. I'm just glad I picked it up since no one else seems to have it on sale and apparently Target took it off sale.

For those who got in (such as yourself) it was definitely the lowest price available.

The only other BF sales for the game are for Digital Copies/Codes. PSN at $45 & XB1/Amazon for $35.

$33.25 shipped. Had no intention of getting this but why not!
I played it on XB for PC Game Pass.

If you loved Fallout: New Vegas, you'll love this game. It's basically that type of shooter/RPG hybrid (but with much better combat), but with a sci-fi setting (think of a cross b/t Firefly TV show and Borderlands)...with some cool twists of its own (i.e. the flaws system).

So far, my favorite game of 2019.

I played a bit of Fallout 4 but found the combat cumbersome (I'm spoiled by Destiny). So hopefully if its better here I'll like it. I got it mostly for my son but I'll give it a spin too.

I bought it and have Game Pass ... so I’m not really sure why, except that I love Fallout and felt guilty for not supporting Obsidian by buying it at launch.

I thought this was only for the red card preview sale but just looked at Target.com and it seems to still be available for PS4 but not for X1.

I've been playing it on Game Pass and this is probably my GOTY. Anyone who likes WRPG's should play it. This is up there with Witcher 3 as the best WRPG this gen.

I'm in the same boat, except I havent bought it yet since it's not on sale anymore. Too good of a game not to support.

I just left Target, and there was no sale signage in front of Outer Worlds.  It also wasn't in the dump bin, so there will likely be plenty of shelf copies in store for anyone who wants it.

I typically buy disc copies of games that have huge installs so that I don't eat up all my allotted GBs for the month.  I'm considering it.

I hate to admit that I’ll probably pick it up on the Switch when that port comes out too. Still waiting on Bethesda to port Fallout 3 ... although we all know New Vegas would be the better port but they won’t do it. 😉

Outer Worlds' combat is much smoother and more fluid than all of the modern Fallouts (Fallout 3, NV, 4, and 76).

TOW feels more like a FPS off the Unreal Engine (old days of FPS's from that era). Though, they give you (at least on default difficulty) a good amount of points at each level-up to sink into skills & perks.

Fallout 3 & New Vegas were very clunky (like most stuff on Bethesda's engine they've been overhauling and duct-taping forever); and FO4 improved quite bit, but still was less clunky than FO3. FO4 still wasn't ideal w/ its combat; TOW is much better at it.

Is this game anything like the Bioshock games?

I'm watching a gameplay video on YouTube and for whatever reason, I get a Bioshock vibe from it.

Does it feel similar to the Bioshock games or am I just crazy?

Grabbed Ps4 one for shipping, no Xbox 1, ok PS4 pro. LOL could not resist grabbing 3 other games, Control Xbox, Ace Combat for PS4, and World War Z for Xbox. Great Deal all four for 95 and change!

this game will be 15 bucks in a few months. single player games typically get there faster than multiplayer games too unless its something amazeballs wtfbbq.
