I find myself amazed that in going through this digital list, practically every price for a major game could be had well cheaper physically over this holiday season. Back when the digital versions of games were first starting to be offered, I held out hope that they would be marginally cheaper than physical versions due to less overhead (not printing a disc, fabricating a case/artwork, etc), and that later sales would be more competitive with physical sales. Yet here we are years later, and it often seems like the online deals are worse compared to physical media. Granted, going digital removes the clutter of cases/discs (which is really nice for those of us with solid backlogs), but at the same time, it also limits your effective ownership of the product (disc vs license). So there’s pros/cons either way. Just a shame that those going digital often have to pay more for the privilege of doing so, as illustrated above.

Im debating getting the Monster Hunter deluxe physical since it’s cheaper at Best Buy on sale.
 
I find myself amazed that Sony got their ass handed to them by Gamestop with Control being $25 today vs. Sony's "deal" at $38.99.
 
Still piss poor when it comes to actual sales. The worst thing is that there have been no extra discounts for being a PS+ member for a long time now.

Ikr or discount codes, I mean ps+ extra discounts suppose to be one of its perks. Its starting to get disappointed no extra discounts no free awesome avatars or themes.
 
On the bright side, it looks like I won't be spending any money I hadn't planned on considering the prices of this sale. While I would have loved an awesome deal, my skinny wallet is happy.
