Hey guys, the comments section is a damn wasteland. I have been listening to the cagcast for over 10 years and thought I should thank you for the podcast. I have brought you guys with me all over the world. From my home in Albany NY to Japan and Taiwan for university and grad school, respectively. I was always able to keep a pulse on the gaming industry because of the cagcast. I could rely on the cagcast for some weekly laughs, and, when I felt like I needed a dose of some natural English conversation, I could turn you guys on and feel like I was back home with some old friends.

So, for my question, what is the next console/upgrade you guys are likely to get? I have been a diehard gamer forever, and an early adopter of consoles, but skipped over both the ps4 and xbox one in favor of a laptop this time around, pc pc pc. Last year I picked up a switch because of smash bros, mario kart, and pokemon. I feel I havent missed out on too much as most games come to the pc now.

On a side note, Cheapy is a great host, shipwreck is a good analyst,
but Wombat is the heart of the podcast. He is always willing to be on the bad end of a joke to make everyone laugh. A true sign of a man of character.

Honestly, you guys are all great. Thank you for another year of laughs an gaming commentary.

Good point about Apex Legends, Cheapy, about it getting more playtime than it warranted, and it's smart to recognize that. I haven't played it but I've experienced a similar thing in Rocket League, where I've felt obligated to play due to grinding XP to get Season Pass rewards, so I ended up playing more than I would have just for fun. I think a good rule of thumb with multiplayer games is that because they have no real end, you need to occasionally evaluate whether you're still playing them out of enjoyment or if there's some additional "brain-hijacky" factor keeping you hooked. They can become quite a timesink otherwise.
