Yeah now that I have a PS5 I see people making fun of Xbox for having a battery port and I don’t get it. I much prefer to swap out my batteries mid game then to just have my controller die and either have to swap controllers or plug it in and sit 2 feet in front of my giant TV.

I have a stack of charged batteries in a bin next to my controllers so when I swap I just stick the old ones into the charger and pop in fresh ones and it’s only like 30 seconds of down time.

Definitely! It's all about choice, something Sony has never realized.

I have a charger right next to where I sit when I game so I don't have to scramble across the house to charge my battery. It works really well now since my battery is pretty much dead.

Let GP expire.  Put the codes in.  Upgrade to GPU.

If you do not have an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you just redeem the codes normally and then upgrade to Ultimate to convert at a 1:1 rate.

Been playing it for the past few weeks with friend's so I'm excited as well. It's one of the few survival games that actually make me think I enjoy survival games. I Also look forward to everyone who hasn't played in awhile to experience goddamn bug raids. Just a bunch of children forced to fist fight spiders because all the gear is broken and gotta defend their home.

The list never drops on the first day unfortunately. Likely contenders would include: Crown Trick, Breathedge, Superliminal, Sable, Dandy Ace, Scarlet Nexus, Astria Ascending and AI: Somnium files. Plus some people think Avengers is leaving this month. Just dropped a new character and another one is coming this month so it's a good time to get people to buy when it leaves gamepass. Plus its been a year.

Where did you get this list Firefox59?  Can you provide me a link to the discussion? I wonder if the remaining games listed above will be part the next batch of games slated to leave GP along with The Forgotten City.

 

Most games are on GP for ~one year with a few exceptions. You can use TrueAchievements to track when games were added to GP so you can better organize which games to prioritize before they leave the service FYI.

Depends on where you will be. Lived there 2011-2013. The Capital is pretty cool definitely check out the central market it's pretty big and lots of interesting things to buy. Antigua is a really cool place. Lake panajachel is a beautiful place. Champerico has a black sand beach if you've never seen one. Xetulul is a neat theme park. If you are in the northern part of the country check out the ruins.

I am getting a network error trying to play powerwash simulator co-op with my spouse and not much luck finding anything online that is current.

She is playing on my home console series x where the game is downloaded via gamepass. I am attempting to join in by streaming on gamepass with my android phone.

When she turns on co-op she gets a network error crash. I can turn on co-op but she gets a failed to connect error.

Is there a known issue or perhaps it is because she does not have gold for online play maybe?

If it really is set to your home xbox then she should be able to use your Gold subscription. My guess outside some temporary network issue with that specific game (or Live) I'd blame streaming. It's been a total shitshow for me. Can't play anything on my tablet with the lag, and 90% of the time I try to stream on my Series X I get a bullshit error message asking if I have the disc and to play from that otherwise download the game.

Aggravating. On a related note, I keep wondering what Microsoft did to Hamster Corporation to sour them on the Xbox brand. There have been no discounts on their Neo-Geo games for years, and Hamster refuses to give Xbox owners arcade games outside of what's on the Neo-Geo. You'd think Microsoft had forced them to take a tour of Richard Gere's lower intestine or something.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I have pretty limited info on the trip yet but I got invited alongside some extended family to go around the holidays. I know very little about Central America in general so I'm just throwing out feelers until I have some time to do some research. I don't have to pay for the flight or a place to stay so it's a near no-brainer, just a bit worried about COVID.

Prodeus is indeed fucking awesome. If you’re a Doom-style shooter fan, it’s a must play. Level design and style is fantastic.

Also tried FIFA 23 but can’t figure out how to play as Ted Lasso. Is that DLC that’s not available yet?
