Just saying that would make me avoid you. Consider the source. This point one of the heartiest laughs I've had in a while, no shit the moron gets duped.
Yeah, I should've considered the source. If I ask strictly for cash I'm setting myself up for failure. Cash App will be the main option with PayPal and cash as backup for flexibility. I've heard the stories of buyers showing up with less cash on hand to buy the item.
- Craig's List has still worked best for me. Go fig.
- Had some luck on OfferUp
- Mercari isn't bad either
- never used FaceBook Marketplace but I hear it's the hotness
I think I'll start with Craigslist and use the others if they don't move after a certain amount of time.
I still have luck on CL (it's where I got my new office chair) but a lot of sketch on there. I avoid ads where people don't post much detail, and usually ghost anyone who is short and abrupt over email or text. I'm not meeting up with anyone who can't answer basic questions or meet at a public location.
Same with selling games etc. Whatever it is, I don't need the money that badly.
Digital is now on sale for $42. Tempting.
If nothing else I'll wait it out, no need of risking it. I was trying to sell a ball cap on FB Marketplace a few years ago. The potential buyer was (trying to) dictate when and where to meet. I decided to check out their profile and backed out. If we can't meet in a public place and you want me to show up by myself it's a deal breaker. If you want to be curt over text or email, the conversation with me ends there.
Anything should work, so long as your buyer doesn't end up having to rent a U-Haul to get the 50" flat screen (but not flat-panel) from the site where it sat prior to its government auction and then not ultimately have the right space in a van to get it to college from home, forcing said buyer to dispose of it at the electronics recycling facility next to the local landfill.
Not that I'd know anything about that.
Umm, lol. Thankfully there will be none this going on, they will fit in any vehicle. The smaller HDTV is 13-inch and the bigger HDTVs (two) are 32-inch.
