Every time I try to get back into Destiny I bounce off hard. I finished the "legendary" Witch Queen campaign and that was OK aside from being too easy for the Legendary title, but the core loop just doesn't change enough. Grind bounties and playlists. It seems like they gave up on PVP.

I'm really interested in the story, now they're finally bringing in Xivu Arath and doing the Exo Rasputin stuff that was cut with the original Joseph Staten story? But the overall game has pretty much stopped evolving.

This season they overhauled the PvP experience.  If you had any interest in Destiny PvP, I'd look into it if I were you.

They overhauled what was there, tweaks to the playlists, progression, and rewards. I'm more interested in getting more than 1 new map in 3 years.

FTC is voting on this soon, so they've been pulling out all the stops.

 

MS got the CWA on their side to publicly support the deal as great for workers, and they made commitments to Steam and Nintendo.

 

I doubt any regulatory body wants to spend the time and money it would take to fight MS on this deal, especially in this economy.

 

It probably goes through, but it's not close to a done deal.

If I setup my Microsoft Rewards to auto redeem for Game Pass, will it just add on to my existing subscription? I would think "yes", but checking to be sure. Just thinking about locking in more in case there's a price increase.

Got my redeem email on the first that said it added a month to mine. Fyi, I had to turn off the $10 credit auto redeem to activate the GP auto redeem.

I don't get all the calls for first party Sony games in exchange for  Call of Duty.  That's like giving them Halo becuase they are afraid of Destiny going exclusive.  If anything, get them to stop the stupid 3rd party deals (which is what I think Sony's major issue with this deal is.)

Final Fantasy 16 is at least 6 months exclusive and Forspoken is at least 2 years.

Do you have a VPN on? I went to Mexico like 2 months ago and it was like that but if I used my VPN and put myself near home (Seattle was the closest) and it made all my normal points available

Those 3rd parties deal exist because they have been stepping in and helping with funding and technical development when needed.

The Final Fantasy XVI exclusive was probably shorten because their support studios is helping Square Enix with the PC port.

Do you guys think it would be a smart allocation of Microsoft reward points to enable the gamepass auto renew (10,500/month). Previously I always just waited for some random discount via cd keys/eneba, but this would result in not spending cash. I have 2.5 years remaining so not sure if loopholes still exist in 2.5 years
