Is something going on with Xbox libraries? My library isn't showing a ton of games that I own. For example GTAIV isn't showing in my library. If I search it in the store it says I can install from there cus I own it but real weird. Like it's a lot of games missing. Unsure if just me

Are all your drives visible?  I thought I was scrolling through my installed list a bit too quickly earlier.  Just checked it, and my 4 TB external USB isn't showing up.  The internal, expansion card and 1 TB SSD are there.  Restarted my console and it's still not there.  Had it for 8 years or so across 3 different consoles (VCR, X, Series X), so it might be nearing the end of its life.  Will try a hard restart later, including powering down the drive for a while.  Given its age, it needs its own power supply.

I just installed L4D, L4D2 and the Orange Box from my 360 disc copies.

I may dig out my copy of Prince of Persia and install that as well.

 

I have all the other digital releases I want in my library from this list: Blood of the Werewolf, Defense Grid, Final Fight: DblImpact, Iron Brigade and Spelunky

 

Jet Set Radio, Daytona USA and Sega Vintage Collection: Alex Kidd & Co.are the only games I would be interested in buying.

 

I forgot Sega Vintage Collection has Revenge of Shinobi on it. Let's hope they consider putting these on sale.

Is it confirmed this is ONLY for the 360 itself and not backwards compatibility? I've eyed Blue Dragon for years and this would be the reason I'd finally buy it, assuming they put it on sale again.

It’s been a few weeks since I watched a video going over the dlc issue with KOTOR 2 but since the initial team that did the restoration(initially done for the PC version) got kicked off the project, it looks like no other work to fix bugs or add content will be happening.

I haven't seen any confirmation of this. The company was kicked off of the remake of KotOR, but we don't know about the status of any of other projects.

Though I guess it's not looking good. There has been radio silence about the restoration DLC or future patches and we're at least 3 months past the projected release date, and they removed mention of the DLC from the Switch store.

I'd still recommend playing on a PC if possible, but for now it seems Xbox is about on par with the Switch version.

If the game is on the current Xbox Store you can still purchase it.  Blue Dragon is available on the current Xbox Store so no worries there. Blue Dragon was on sale recently.

 

There are a few of the games that can only be purchased on the 360 marketplace store. These will be delisted and you cannot buy them.  Most of these games are backwards compatible. Some also are reporting you may need a 360 console to purchase them because the online web 360 store gives error message when trying to check out.

Hopefully that speculation is correct. The page doesn't say anything about full delisting, just removal from the old marketplace.

I might pick up a Daytona USA, Orange Box and Blue Dragon.

The physical copies are both going for about $20 shipped on eBay. Blue Dragon specifically doesn't have any other release.

EDIT: Holy moly, Xbox 360 Wi-Fi downloads are slow.

 

Going to go ahead and buy some stuff that I already have on disc.  I've been trying to convert physical copies to digital when possible.

It sounds like it's only for 360. Basically so long as it has a purchase button on it on the Series/One consoles or a page on the XBox purchase screen you should be fine, so yeah Blue Dragon should be okay so long as you're not planning to play it on the 360 in the future.

 

Also Wario64 is picking up some random Japanese publisher sale right now.

Just wanted to chime in on my experience with external drives with with XSX. I use a 64gb usb stick as well as a 2TB usb drive. I'm not exactly sure when it started but it's been well over a year for me cuz I try to report the issue every couple months. But what happens is kinda like you're describing. When both drives are plugged in, only my usb stick gets recognized. However, I can just remove the usb stick and suddenly the 2TB drive will start working immediately. 

 

Not really sure why this happens, but I would just try to plug in the USB drive once the xbox hits the dashboard.  I know it's a little different for you since it seems like you just have one USB drive but I'm not sure how the xbox considers the expansion card.

Wasn't Rumbleverse out for like 3 weeks? I saw G4 playing it on Twitch end of last summer (?) when it was in a very very early state (alpha? beta? idk) but I barely heard anything once it released. Oh well. Maybe the Battle Royale scene is getting oversaturated at this point. The good ones will stay, but new ones are a tough sell.

I just went through and made a list of all the 360 non XBLA games I wanted to get that I don't have access to over the weekend. After the 675ish that I own in some form the list came out to like 15 games that I could give a slightest damn about. Oh well. Maybe the Battle Royale scene is getting oversaturated at this point. The good ones will stay, but new ones are a tough sell.

It launched in early access around then. It's currently in season 2. I saw someone posting a player count graph and it basically had one big spike with season 1 and then tanked off a cliff immediately. The few people I've heard talk about this game are all FGC adjacent, and have been mentioning long queue times for a couple months. Saw a couple delusional players saying that a Steam release would have saved it, even though it had full crossplay and was still dead.

Personally never tried it, I hate the art style, and the balance sounded pretty bad until season 2 started.
