Also if you have it it'll be located under Store>Deals>scroll down under Special Offers and if you have any they'll have a pink tag on them listed as "Just For You".

I normally don't even bother checking Just For You deals for the same reason, but last week I checked it on a whim and it did give me a significant discount on Assassin's Creed Syndicate Gold Edition for just $6.  Guess I'll start checking it more frequently now.

I Legit didn't realize or notice Pinball FX (the new current console version) dropped this week until browsing True Achievements. The lack of excitement when they announced you can't export any of your FX3 tables really killed all fucks for that game.

Looks like Midnight Suns might have killed Firaxis. Their studio head and the MS/XCOM creative director both left today.

While certainly a bummer that Pinball FX3 tables can't be imported, I'm happy to have new pinball content. I count 21 new tables, which is a nice amount! With 86 total tables in the new game, that means there's 65 duplicates from Pinball FX3. Certainly not going to re-buy any of those. Interesting is that there's 35 tables Zen didn't port over from Pinball FX3.

I'm just curious what new features are so advanced that they said was the reason was why you couldn't export the tables or that somehow the older hardware couldn't handle. I Know it's more than likely corporate BS to make us buy the tables again, but still curious. Also bummed that Indiana Jones for FX3 never had a sale because I don't want to pay $15 for one damn table and I want everything (well, close to everything) all in one game.

Legit impressed at the stink Square Enix's Avengers brought to the Marvel gaming property (outside of Sony first party titles).

I haven’t posted in a long time, but that is truly sad.

I finished Midnight Suns about a month ago and loved it. I usually am not into those types of strategy games and actually mostly disliked X-Com for the difficulty, but MS was great.

It sucks that you have to play about 10 hours before it gets started and the tutorial is bad, but it gets much, much better as it goes on. I actually even felt real sadness by the end of the game. I just wish that a sequel was possible because even while playing that game I knew there would probably not be a real follow up because it was just too niche.

I have no idea who thought this game would actually sell well, but I salute them because it’s easily one of the best games to release in 2022. I don’t even regret buying that Legendary edition 2 weeks before it went on sale for 30% off.

If you finish the tutorial and do the Ramona's Challenge stuff you will earn a 24 hour Pinball Pass which gives you full access to all the tables except Marvel and Indy. The 24 hours is in real time, not game time.

After doing some research it's nice to see that you can just buy these. I thought they were forcing you to use their currency to buy them.  Looks like they took some of the feedback from the early access release and changed up how to purchase the tables. Currency looks to be for the pinball pass.

 

"Buying tables and table packs will happen through the storefront, for fiat money, similar to Pinball FX3. After receiving feedback from players, we felt this was the right decision and will revert back to the previous way of selling the core Pinball FX experience.  This means, that tables purchased from the storefront will not be playable cross-platform. "

It looks like it would cost $117 without tax to purchase the 21 new tables.

Looks like most individual tables cost now either $5, $5.50 or $10 each. All newer 3 table packs are now $15

 

 

Maybe I would consider some of these on sale. I know a few of these are from the Apple Arcade release Zen Pinball Party and I really didn't like many of them. Dreamworks pack, Garfield, My Little Pony and Snoopy.

 

I also heard there is some serious input lag with the release and people are not happy about it. I maybe will get a few of the new tables to try if or whenever they decide to put them on sale in the future but I'm not buying tables I previously bought again.  They do mention in the FAQs about a possible legacy discount for table owners in the future.

I have been in early access on the epic store for a few months prior to the game being released and I purchased a lot of the new tables. A nice unexpected bonus was after they released the game across platforms they gifted me tables (on the epic store) I did not own already that they have bundled. I pretty much own all the tables in the epic store.   I will say the game plays a lot better on PC than on XBox right now.  I really love the Mandalorian and Brothers in Arms tables.  The new Zen tables are pretty awesome too.  I would say it is not really worth buying any of the tables you already own with Pinball FX3 since they are pretty much the same apart from a slight graphics upgrade.

Feature wise the game is not improved in my opinion. Mostly just newer graphics and tables. I prefer Pinball FX3 for features.  It's really about the new tables they have created for me.

Got a Switch for my kid last year and picked up MUA3 for me. It's not as good as the previous ones. Good characters/graphics, but it gets mired down in the stink of the modern gaming market's insistence on massive repetitive grinding. 

 

I gave up even trying to unlock the final DLC characters that I paid for since it still required days more of grinding.

Was a big fan of the earlier Pinball Games and actually bought all tables for FX2 and FX3

As for this new one, there has been a lot of feedback, since none of your bought tables will transfer..however they made a statement to look into a discounting strategy for the remasters.
 

 

Additionally they made an update today for the input lag already.

Still on the fence though if I want to jump into this one...also none of the table dlcs will have achievements... just in-game unlocks.
