It's a Bethesda Studio game so we'll be seeing bugs up to the Game of the Year edition. Even then playing big open world Bethesda games day one month one always seems like a gamble of your save file being corrupted or a game quest not progressing because the AI disappears or whatever.

If you're implying you only have multiple years of GamePass to play Starfield, why not just buy the game at launch instead?

I played a lot of Bethesda games and the “bugs” never bothered me or were game breaking so idc…I play 2k and if I don’t play it for months my save files corrupt this includes myplayer where people spend money for vc it has happened every year…also played Spider-Man remaster ps5 and Spider-Man got stuck in a building I couldn’t do anything but close out of the game and start over…both of these bugs are bigger than anything I’ve seen from a Bethesda game.

Xbox achievement data shows that 67% of Wo Long players haven't made it past the very first boss yet...

I’m playing through Mass Effect Legendary Edition right now and only 50% of players have the achievement for beating the first tutorial mission.  Achievement completion stats for games that are available on a subscription service tend to skew low.

 

Besides, I never claimed the boss was easy - he's just not as impossible as many on social media are claiming

Was it a slap in the face when Sony delayed Horizon Forbidden West, God of War and Gran Turismo 7? You only get one chance to make a good first impression. Sony knows this which is why they waited for official reviews of GT7 to come out before stuffing the game full of microtransactions AFTER the reviews came out. So please spare us your fake outrage.

 

Maybe being acquired by Microsoft is providing Bethesda the unique opportunity to polish the game and not forcing the game to be rushed. MS knows that Starfield has the potential to be one of their biggest releases of this generation. We're talking 20+ million players in the first month. It's not like there's nothing else to play. A game being delayed by a couple of months is not the end of the world. It will be worth the wait.

the last demo game play was bad and very basic, if that was going to release then am happy it delayed. am sure they got a great concept of a game, does not make a great game. i think they had people, not just yes men play it and agree it needed more time and polish.

Nope...  Sony has been quite clear that they do not want to put their exclusive games day 1 on their subscription service. Thankfully you'll still be able to play Starfield and soon ABK games like Diablo IV and Call of Duty day 1 on Gamepass.
