Glad I finally picked up the DLC but at least this is a lot of notice.
EDIT: I totally missed the delist date is only like 5 weeks out. They're blaming it on the servers going down in 9 months? What a load of shit, at least sell the single player capable games until then. Mirror's Edge is only going to lose leaderboards and ghosts.

XBox Game Pass rewards quest going through some changes again. No more weekly 250 points for accomplishing a quest in a game, instead 25 points for passing 100 days in Cities: Skyline to which I can say naw, I'm good.

I recently went back and completed achievements for 1942 and BC2. Still play great! BC1 will have to be ignored because I don't think I want to go for the 10002 kills achievement :p

Mhh still have quite some online achievements left on Battlefield Bad Company...and never even started the second one (or got all the DLC for it either... oh well...won't be the first games on my lis that never will be completed... Even though I've been really trying to catch up the recent years with some of those started games..

Appears that Microsoft isn’t even offering concessions to Sony in the ATB deal now. Would be pretty ironic if all their bickering actually did end up having Call of Duty pulled from PlayStation. (Which I still doubt because MS likes money)

MS has been doing a good job striking these deals with everyone else as a way to show that they are willing to play ball with other platforms. Makes it easier to dismiss Sony’s claims now and preemptively shut down Sony’s griping if they do pull CoD from PS by saying “well, we made them an offer like everyone else but they didn’t want it.”

Noob question: I own Halo Master Chief Collection digital on Xbox, if I got a steam deck, would I be able to play it or would I have to rebuy from the steam store? Thank you!
You could either re-buy it on steam, but you could also stream it via gamepass. If you play natively on SteamDeck via Steam purchase multiplayer won't work however due to the anti-cheat system in place

Its not in a confined space. Tried holding the power button down to reset, different outlets, tvs, power cables and hdmi cables. Anyone run into an issue like this before? Just submitted a service request through microsoft online. I elected to send it in rather than take to a service center.

How long did you wait after powering it on to see if anything happened? I’ve had that happen before but that’s generally when it is trying to download and apply an update while your console is “off”. I have my S on energy saving mode and it still does that. I’m also on the Alpha ring of the Insider program.

It powers its self off. I turn it on then after 90 seconds of nothing happening it powers off on its own.

That's just the EC though.
The CMA will definitely have remedies in place for Sony.
Then once the EC/CMA approve the deal, the FTC won't have a leg to stand on.
I just want this done so we get Diablo IV in Game Pass....

Sony has shit on every offer and statement Microsoft has made about the merger. At this point I hope they just don't get any concessions. I doubt CoD would be going exclusive anyways, at least for the rest of the current gen.
Agreed. Sony has constantly exaggerated Microsoft’s plans and never tried in good faith to work on a deal. They are the only one who’s not willing to work on a deal. Microsoft would be stupid to make CoD an exclusive. I hope all this stonewalling by Sony bites them in the ass and they get nothing.

not sure why it seem far fetched? it why sony is really not waiting gamepass. if D4 is their on GP they will either have to pay to match it as ps plus option or risk losing more players long term as you can play a lot games for less then $70 and buy it later on sale, while still saving money. it a win win for MS, they knew what they were doing when they said yes, to spending billions.

Had an early morning scare. I was doing my dailies for Bleeding Edge last night and lost connection in the middle of my play session so turned it off and went to bed no big deal. Checked again this morning, I ran several connection tests, Xbox said it was connected to the internet, spent a lot of time checking my lan wire and router. Eventually decided I should try restarting the console. Upon restarting turns out I needed to update. Why didn't the Xbox automatically update or warn me that I needed to update? That was extremely annoying!
Smart delivery but the console isn't smart enough to update itself?
