My issue with MLB.TV is the lack of ability to watch local games.  I don't want cable here anymore (or to pay $30 a month to Bally Sports) and so my only option to watch the Brewers is via a dodgy stream.  

 

The blackout rules are so damn dumb....

For those of you getting the hookup on MLB.tv, some free advice: don't use it on data. If you get detected using it on a non-Tmobile network, you risk having the subscription revoked. Stick to WiFi.

For anyone following the ABK merger... US congress threatened to investigate the jFTC for Anti-Trust practices and the next day Japan approves the merger in Japan. Can't make this stuff up! Love to see Sony get the smoke! Meanwhile Lina Khan and the FTC are using US taxpayers money to block the success of a US based company while protecting the market dominance of a Japanese company. Please someone make it make sense!

 

All of Sony's dirty tactics over the last 30 years are finally getting exposed! Remember they are the only platform charging devs for cross-play. They are not just paying for exclusives but are actively paying devs to keep games off of Xbox platform as many of those game will go to PS5, Swtich, PC but skip Xbox entirely.  Remember when Xbox acquires 3rd party games for Gamepass, many of those games still go multi-platform day 1 including PC and in many cases PS5 just like recently with Atomic Heart, Persona series, Monster Hunter, Plague Tale Requiem, etc...

I'm currently playing through Eastward right now. It got overlooked because it released at the same time as Chained Echoes but the game is extremely charming. It's got old school zelda, earthbound, fallout and stardew valley vibes. And for some reason smacking things with the Frying Pan is one the most satisfying feelings I've felt in a game in awhile.. *smack* *smack* *smack*

 

Before that I just finished Norco... a very trippy point and click adventure. A highly rated game that most people probably haven't heard of.

 

As Dusk Falls could work as well as it's not very action intensive. The story hit me in the feels like a Mack Truck so be ready for that.
 

Always welcome to recommendations! I actually downloaded Eastward last night after posting, I've heard great things and was debating it on Switch for handheld. The streaming setup plays as well or better than my Switch in portable mode - my Series S is actually just hooked up next to my router without a TV or monitor for pure streaming currently. Omori is on the list as well.

 

I'll check out Norco. Already played through As Dusk Falls, made it a Friday night event with my wife and a close friend. I definitely recommend playing with multiple people if possible, we did it in two 3-hour blocks.

Yeah, I had that same experience when I lived in Georgia.  

 

Sadly the same thing happens now when I watch the Islanders here in Wisconsin, I get blacked out when the play against the Wild.  So stupid.

You must try Opus: Echo of Starsong, it is an amazing game.

I really liked what I played of Omori. Unfortunately I got sidetracked before I could finish it. It's high on my list of games to go back to and complete. FYI it's highly recommended to stay away from any kind of spoilers for this game.

 

I'm spending the next couple of weeks working on my backlog before Ghostwire Tokyo hits. That's the next big release I'm looking forward to.

Though I’m mainly concentrating on the RE 4 Remake and will give The Show 23 a try, all the articles about Bioshock Infinite are making me want to go back and finish it. Well, start over and play through it. I only played a few hours but had gotten distracted by something else at the time. I need to correct that.

I tried the RE 4 remake at my buddies it was super good I was impressed, I'll sale buy it though since I still have biohazard to finish, the village to start and another one or two I can't remember to start too. Cant wait for the show tonight

Infinite kind of sucks for what it's worth. Better off replaying 1 or 2.

That’s kind of what I had thought so probably part of the reason I didn’t go back to finish it. But the articles I was reading for its 10-year anniversary were building it up as if it was an underrated classic. Perhaps they’re just doing that for clicks…
