I think Baseketball was probably very early south park days but not quite before it. No way that movie would have gotten real actors in it if South Park hadn't already taken off. But yes I do love that movie along with many other terrible ones.

I remember hearing that it was shot before the show aired but released after, riding the wave of SP's popularity, but Wikipedia agrees with you:

"When Zucker got the green-light from Universal, he had wanted Chris Farley to play the lead role before casting Parker and Stone due to their work with South Park becoming a huge hit. The duo agreed to do the movie under the assumption that their show would have been canceled by the time filming began, which did not happen."

Yeah, was checking this morning and grabbed Mummy since it is 4k at least. I've been abusing the Vudu D2D to convert many movies over for $2 each, a lot of which have been netting me points so I'm back up to 5k lol. Sony Rewards also let me know I was only two titles away from another free movie, so my digital collection has blown up to over 300 movies now with me down to just steelbooks and Disney movies left physically in the house. Good reminder on D2D.  I should scrounge around and see if I have any Universal or Sony titles I still want to convert.  What did you do with your physical copies? 

 

As someone who is looking to reduce the space footprint of my physical copies (I have lots of movies in particular), what tips do any of you have to accomplish this?  I was thinking about putting the discs in a big cd wallet since I have digital copies of most of it anyway.
