Good reminder on D2D. I should scrounge around and see if I have any Universal or Sony titles I still want to convert. What did you do with your physical copies?

As someone who is looking to reduce the space footprint of my physical copies (I have lots of movies in particular), what tips do any of you have to accomplish this? I was thinking about putting the discs in a big cd wallet since I have digital copies of most of it anyway.

that’s what I did. unless it’s a collectible or steelbook I threw the cases away.

Looks like something someone made in their garage, but it is a start. We need the competition to drive prices down, and then let us get a decently priced 4TB expansion card. Or maybe the next version of the Series S|X can have more than one port for expansion cards. I would be happy with either.

I put my discs in cd envelopes and used these bins. It made it much easier to organize than when I had stored them in huge cd wallets

Xbox went with 2230 (internal) / CFexpress (external) form factor drives, so I doubt we ever see a 4 TB card.  It would be insanely expensive when they could make one.

The Long Dark is really good. It's a very different kind of game. No fast travel at all but done on purpose to make you really feel like you are surviving.

Microsoft seems to be allowing other manufacturers to make the Series X/S expansion cards. Best Buy had a WD listing for one (apparently already sold out at $180). Hopefully this will finally help bring down prices a bit.

More companies making expansion cards is a good thing, although I don't think too many more are going to jump in and pay licensing fees to make a niche product.  We'll probably see a few more sales now though.

 

I would guess that Microsoft will keep the firmware checks in place to keep people from using an adapter.  Being able to use a 2280 NVME drive in a CFexpress adapter would be a game changer.

Anyone have thoughts on if the Outer Worlds upgrade pass will ever be on sale?  Just looking for a comparison, I'm not seeing that the Black Ops Cold War upgrade ever want on sale according to TA.  I'm not in any rush to get it, just curious if I should expect to see a sale at some point.

Ugh, literally started R6 Extraction last night to work on the April TA targets. Definitely not gonna grind that out to completion before it's gone

Microsoft’s eBay store has been the place to get controllers. I ordered a day strike Camo for $35 last week and they also had electric volt for $32.50 and black/white for $30.

Speaking of hard drives, been having a weird issue with my external. Games play fine off of it and I can transfer games to and from it. But all the sudden, it won’t let me install games to it. You know how if you don’t have space on internal and it’s a regular Xbox One game, it’ll prompt you to install it on external? Well I say, yes and it does nothing.

Game in question just sits there and still says “installation stopped”. I’ve tried unplugging the drive and restarting my Series X. Nothing.

Anyone have this happen and know a solution? Everything else with the drive works just fine.

Edit: Fixed it by setting the default location for Xbox One games as external even though that isn’t always where I want to install them (sometimes want to use my SSD). Now it works for installing now. Not sure why it wouldn’t work when prompted though.

No install issues with USB drive set as install location for BC games and expansion card for Series games.  The store app never wants to update though, so I get asked to update every time I launch it.

 

I felt like playing some Tekken 7 while watching EVO Japan.  I was looking for the jukebox mode so I could turn on the music from all the previous Tekken games but couldn’t find it.  After some research I find out that the old music is exclusive to the PlayStation version…
