Only thing I can think of are Xbox gift cards, really.
They don't even offer those anymore unfortunately.
Weren't there some digital currency for games that would give actual Xbox money instead of the in game credits? I remember something like that when people were using the $5 monthly Gamestop credit. I was hoping to go that route if they have that on Dell.
Mortal Shell again? Looks like I am buying it if I want to finish. Was interested in Serious Sam 4 but not enough to play it in time I guess.
I heard good things about Chorus but again never played. Worth trying to squeeze it in 17 days?
Edit: Looks like Mortal Shell was on less than 6 months?
HLTB has Chorus pegged at 13 hours for the main story so it's definitely doable in two weeks. It's one of the games I've always been meaning to go back to and finish up. Definitely check it out if you like aerial space combat games. It's got an interesting cool story.
Mortal Shell is a great souls game. Really enjoyed it. The game left Game Pass last November and came back January of this year so it came back for 6 months. It was heavily discounted at the beginning of the month so might be while before we see it on sale again but worth owning for Souls fans.
Maneater is just stupid fun! Highly recommend at least checking it out. It's not very long either.
Shout out to the user that pointed out Alienware had $30 in Dell Rewards up for grabs this month.
I'm browsing Dell.com but I don't see anything worth buying gaming wise.
Any recommendations?
I'm thinking of grabbing Capcom Fighting Collection for $39.99. I'm about 100 ARP away from redeeming 600 ARP for another $10 Dell Reward, thus making it almost completely free. Their game selection, otherwise, is mostly terrible.

Oh shit I didn't even realize that. Whoops.
And to think I even contemplated buying a monitor that had a $100 Dell egift card promo
I didn't remember if Inconceivable was introduced before they added the mutators and carrying over the Jack upgrades. Made it a relative breeze. Been working through Gears 4 Inconceivable solo, which is a pain. Got the Memento Mori. The 1 hit gib melees really help. Haven't needed to fire a shot yet, but the Snatchers and Carriers are coming.
I spent some of the Iron earned from the tour on boost just before they made boost permanent. So I have 80 some days of it that rarely drops because you get a daily free one.
LMK if you need a 3rd for the remaining Hives. I might not have offered if you needed The Split or The End, but those aren't too bad. The step up from Inconceivable to Master on the Surge can be a pain, since Scions are usually the one left off.
Most of the biggest grinds in Gears 4 and 5 were added well after release. Upgrading all the skills for a class and Re-Up 11. Seriously 5.0, Chapter 2, Re-Up 60, the longer Versus achievements. (Not really going to count the PvE damage / kills achievements, since custom Escapes were made to ease those grinds.) So you might need to wait a year or two after Gears 6 releases for all the achievements to be out. Do the campaign on your 2nd tag to get the story, then wait to see what kind of BS achievements they throw in.
Also Gears talk:
Spoiler
I think the NG+ came with the campaign Update, however I'm nto a 100% sure either... Inconceivable wasn't too bad either way. Iron Man on the other hand especially in Gears 4 with the Motorcycle part gave us a bit of a headache xp (looking back it was mostly parts with vehicles even in older Gears games on higher difficulties which made it harder lol) As for the Gears 4 Inconceivable run, let me know if you need help.
Eh luckily I got most of my Iron form the Tour of Duties as well, still paid an extra $10 a some point though, oh well. So you basically still log in for the grind almost every day?
As for the Hives, could be a real help to have third who still plays regulary, the both of us still have to get back into it though before trying for real, I noticed that I got a bit sloppy when playing yesterday lol
Mhh running through with Scions might not work anymore in the Surge or at least will make it harder, however if we can make it to the end, there's luckily only so much time to fend them off. Either way the offer is appreciated.
And yeah the End was quite a pain to Master but as for The Split I do not remember having too much trouble with that one..
And for Gears 6, yeah' that's basically the plan, play the story on the 2nd Tag and wait until all achievements are out. Will probably still play a bit on the 2nd Tag though just for fun and to get the bigger picture in which direction it will go.
I thought this morning I'd try to get ahead and sync anything on sale I wasn't tracking into my list and update the Game Pass list before the start of the month, when Xbox usually publishes the comings and goings. Then Xbox decides to put out the list early.

I'm attempting to do the Inconceivable run solo. I solo'ed Insane in 1 through 4, plus both UEs as well as the Declassified missions in Judgment. Still working through Insane in Gears 2 JP, current checkpoint is crossing the frozen lake. So I'm a glutton for punishment. Also stacked Insane and Inconceivable solo in 5, but I used the NG+ mutators and Jack to cheese it. Might try it for real one day, but probably not for a while.
The motorcycle part killed me a number of times in my current Gears 4 run. That section should have had at least one extra checkpoint. But, yeah, vehicles portion in Gears have never been fun. The Junker with the Kryll in 1. Though I've done that so many times, I've gotten used to it. The Centaur in 2 with the aforementioned frozen lake. I don't remember the vehicle parts in 3 being too bad (gas barge, truck, sub), though it's been a while since I played 3's campaign. Aside from the wind flares in the desert, I didn't mind the skiffs in 5.
Died a lot on the part where you're trying to hold off enemies at the museum. First a wave of Drones, then Juvies that can scale the front of the building to get at you or enter the building and come up the stairs behind you. Those parts weren't too bad, especially with the Memento Mori, which killed the Juvies faster than the chainsaw, leaving you less exposed. The problem was the third wave, with more Drones coming up the stairs behind you and more Juvies climbing the front of the building. Finally got through that. Then the next section is a large open area, where you're pinned down by snipers. Made my way slowly through that, only to be killed by a Grenadier that burst through a door near the end, where you have to be pretty close to trigger it. Back to the start of the area, and one of the snipers killed me while I was ducked behind cover. Had to put the controller down at that point, was too disgusted.
I still log in to 5 nearly every day to do the daily tasks. At first, I wanted coins to max out the class skills. Once I got there, I focused on the character skins. Have all the non-Heroic ones now. I really should just focus on the remaining Vs achievements and move on to other games, but I still enjoy running Escape and the occasional Horde Frenzy.
IIRC, some of the bulkier classes can speed run the Surge on Inconceivable minus Scions, but with the Scion modifier, there are a couple mid way through the 2nd act. At least one, if not both, have Salvos. Then there are 2 on the landing pad at the end, I think one with a Mulcher and the other a Dropshot. Between them and the Elite Drones, it's one of the tougher Hives to Master. It's one of the few Hives without a faster venom mod, so the approach is take the second half slow and kill everything. I generally go in with a Nomad and get the Lancer up the left path in the first act. Can't attempt to chainsaw the Elite Drones, they will always win a duel unless someone else is firing on them. But it works against the other enemies (except Scions), creating some breathing room by continually triggering fear. Also remains useful as ammo starts drying up. For the Elite Drones, I use the Boltok to stun them and move in for a knife execution.
Worst thing about Melee Brawl is the freezing rifles. Shielded Grenadiers and the venom can make Ice Queen tricky. Double Wardens at the end of the first act can also be a pain.
The Split can be hairy at the end of the first act with multiple Sentinels flying around and venom moving up on you. But the end of the second act has a flood of DR-1s and Sentinels. A good Tactician or two can keep up with the enemies using Salvos with their explosive reload, but it's still a lot of enemies with the venom pushing you. For toughest hives, I'd put that near, if not at, the top, with The End and The Gatekeepers. I remember not liking the end of the Malfunction, another stream of DR-1s and Sentinels, but not as many as the Split. Maybe actually trying to fight through the second half of the Onslaught instead of just running through it, but it's been a long time since I actually tried to fight through it.
Bought GTA 4 and it's so nice to finally be able to play this game at a locked 60fps. I have a high end PC but no matter how much I tweaked with the settings I could never get that game to run well on it because it's so poorly optimized.
The only disappointment is the DLC is sold separately on Xbox so I'll just get that in a future sale.
Do you guys know if Dell will price-match and let you use Dell Rewards at the same time? I'm trying to get a regular Xbox controller (core?) but it doesn't look like they're on sale anywhere right now.
For anybody on Alienware Arena, this month they're giving away a $10 and $20 (for a total of $30) Dell Reward in the monthly log in thing.
This means you have to log in every day for 27 days in May to get both rewards. I forget exactly when the daily reset is... I think it might be 10 or 11PM Central time, but I always log in after midnight or in the early morning so I haven't kept track.
I don't know if Dell still has MS store gift cards, but as of this post they have Game Pass available.
