I guess maybe it was just the original release that Nintendo funded and published (according to this article). Not sure if maybe Koei Temco bought it since then.

Nintendo published the original Wii U version in the West because the Japanese publisher didn't think it would sell well, and it didn't.

Koei Tecmo is now re-publishing it themselves. Presumably minimal work to replace the Nintendo costumes and remove motion controls for an already localized game.

It's a weird feeling that I'm primarily an XBox player and grateful for Game Pass and Rewards because they let me use all my real saved up money on Nintendo games instead of them.

 

With that being said, Nintendo made this a pricey year for me.

Elder Scrolls Online next gen upgrade is out. 108 GB total.

My copy of ESO is 88.9GB total. Thought maybe I hadn't received the update yet, but after launching it I definitely do.

The game looks really clean now. Not sure if I want to run in graphics or performance mode yet

Same. That was a stellar conference.
Completely shocked that the Fatal Frame port won't be a Switch exclusive, but I'm happy for the series to get a chance to get more love. Based on this and the recent Ninja Gaiden collection, it looks like Koei Tecmo is trying to drum up interest in their backcatalog. DoA and musou games (and Nioh) can only sustain you for so long I guess. Maybe Monster Rancher will get a revisit.

eh....not really. They look a little better and I can't recall if there were any gameplay tweaks but they are pretty much just upscaled ports of the 360 versions you already have access too.
