Is Xbox missing any major KH games now?

I Think everything except the upcoming mobile game is accounted for now in those non terribly named sensical sequels.

Somewhat related:

I know I'm in the extreme minority on this, but I try to be conscious about power consumption and environmental stuff. The One S is incredibly power efficient, max load is about 50w, compared to the launch model which used more than double that when running a game. For something like Hulu, I try to use the most efficient device I can. PS4 has always been a bit more power hungry, the slim model (which is more power efficient) is still almost double the power consumption of the One  (the same is true of the revised 360 slim).

For those who are curious:

I'm very curious to see what kind of power use the new consoles have, since revisions almost always result in more efficiency.

I'm with you on watching power consumption.  Power is expensive here in Arizona and these machines can be on upwards of 12 hours a day.

Never really thought about the power consumption of consoles before but I applaud this effort.    Considering how powerful the CPU and GPUs are in the new consoles I can see them pulling quite a bit of wattage to get the performance needed.  The PS5 especially due to its reliance on boosting clock speeds to gain additional processing power.

It also adds up in terms of annual cost, as well as on a large scale. Fancy gaming PCs of course use a lot of power, but they have historically been more of a hobbyist thing than a general consumer product. 100 million PS4s being sold is a much larger footprint in terms of power use compared to people who build a PC or buy an Alienware. My approach has always been, get the thing I want but with the most efficiency possible - a lot like the purpose of this website.

  1. LOVE the name of that website.  I'm going to start browsing it so I can say stuff like, "I read THIS on Nerd Burglars today."
  2. I've stopped using external devices altogether and just started streaming from the TV itself (TCL Roku TV).  I know not every smart TV is equal though, but I thought you had one too?

I was never overly concerned with what power my consoles draw.  I have gamed maybe 1.5 hours in the last 1.5 months.  Before that I was gaming 2-3 hours a day for months. 5-6 hours a day on Sat and/or Sun.  I am very sporadic with my gaming the last couple years.

However I never thought it made a whole lot of sense to fire up a console to watch TV.  Even before I had two Roku TVs and a Roku Stick, I had Chromecasts and a smart BluRay player.  Why would I want to have my $300-$400 console on for hours at a time streaming TV?  Potentially shortening their lives?  Also I had a PS3 media remote but otherwise using a controller as a remote sucks IMO.

I just ordered the Cyberpunk One X console. I will sell my black One X once it arrives. I game share with a friend. When I set up the Cyberpunk Xbox, will everything transfer over or what do I need to do to ensure game sharing works? I can try to google but was hoping someone here had experience with this.

It should all be seamless once you are signed in and you make sure whichever console is currently set to "home" is at the same location.

Is my friends console the home one or is mine the home one? I will have to check what it's set as right now. I can google how to game share again since it's been over a year since I set it up on my current One X to game share.

Yeah I thought Xbox said they were having a hardware focused show in June and I’m not the only one. Apparently it got delayed to August, maybe...

https://wccftech.com...nt-to-go-first/

That delay was debunked immediately by a Microsoft guy. There is no way they give Sony a month head start on preorders anyway so if a price is announced later today then Xbox will have to say something next week.

Yeah Greenberg debunked it asap on Twitter.

What's wrong with not wanting to waste power when watching whatever on TV? It's not only an environmental thing, it's a cost savings thing. You not only use less electricity but you also put less wear and tear on the power hungry devices.

I absolutely agree, conserving power is a great thing to do, I do it myself for all of the reasons you talk about. Acting like you are a martyr for doing so is more self righteous. He basically comes here saying "I am better than everyone because unlike all you peasants, I conserve power! If you want to be more like me then go to this website". That is all I meant by him not hurting himself patting his back so hard.

...I Didn't get that feeling from reading her comment at all. Like at all. It sounded more like a "here's a thing" kinda post, not a "I'M GONNA LEARN YOU SOMETHING" kinda post.

Roku is so good though and you really only have to authenticate the apps once so not enough reason to switch to Apple's overpriced hardware in my opinion.

Well, I’m heavily invested in their ecosystem for digital movies (before they released an Apple TV app) and paid like $35 for it with this DirectTV offer a few years ago. I love it but agree it’s too expensive on its own.

Yep, it's for PC, sorry for the confusion!

The game collection should launch everywhere else next week (6/18).  That should include Xbox One, even though the console isn't mentioned anywhere officially.

From what I've gathered, retail investors are the only reason the dow isn't in the teens and they are mostly invested in a handful of companies.  The market is over valued and a tinderbox. Fed came out yesterday and said they will need to maintain zero interest rates through at least 2022.  The official economic arbiter said we actually hit recession in February before we even had all the covid lock downs.  Basically, no one should believe we are on the road to recovery.

I am done with all that investment stuff. My great Grandfather bought stocks for all his grandkids like 40 years ago. I was not legally able to touch the stocks until I was 21 or if my parents signed off of them. I didn't know about the stocks until I was 16. I told my parents that I didn't like my money being tied up into something I have no control over. They told me that stocks are a safety net and to trust them as adults. Every year or 2, I would ask them if they would please just take out the stocks and put them in a savings account for me. They always refused. So I just told myself to wait until I was 21 and then I would take them out. 8 months before turning 21, 911 happened and I lost a lot of money. My parents finally agreed and told me that they would sign off on taking the stocks out as soon as they went up a certain amount. I finally got the stocks out and was right about the damn thing the entire time.

I've tried investing in my own business. It failed within 6 months. I lost a good amount of money and a childhood friend that was more like a brother to me from that.

Years later in 2007, I bought an investment duplex meaning other people lived there and I would get the rent from them and pay off the loans. I think you know where this is going. The housing market crashed, the bank took my duplex and I had to declare bankruptcy. I finally have gotten my credit score back to 800 after all those years and have learned my lesson with investing. Either I have incredibly bad luck, am horrible at investing or a combination of the 2. In any case, I play it safe now.

I prefer my AppleTV over the insane amount of data harvesting that Roku does.

From my own personal experience (and it seems yours), don't ever go into business with family or friends unless you are 100% sure they are as on board as you.  Otherwise, you can find out their true colors REAL quick.
