but in MCC you can choose which games multiplayer or single player you want installed.
Good to know thanks.
M$? Are you 12? And comparing Switch games to Xbox One games when it comes to file size is laughable and ignorant.
Why are you so offended with M$? It's an easy way to abbreviate. I've noticed you are a very sensitive poster. Lighten up. Enjoy life person.
I've spoken with some devs at E3 and CES. Some I remember by name were the Rockband and MLB The Show devs but I've spoken mainly with devs from MLB The Show. They all told me that their game sizes are so big because there isn't any reason for them not to be. 2 devs told me it's time consuming and difficult to compress files without losing quality. I asked him how Nintendo is able to do it and one told me they are working on another level and one told me they are at the top of their field. I remember an MLB The Show dev telling me, "we have 50 GB to work with on blu ray disc and we are going to use up as much of that disc as we can." I also asked him about load times being shorter and he told me that it's not a high priority but sure, they can make them faster if it was absolutely necessary. Now, that was 3 years ago as they stopped going to CES but my point is, Nintendo just cares more about that stuff or they are just more talented than any of the other devs. Have you also been going to CES and E3 for years and you've spoken directly with devs? If so, what did they tell you since you called me ignorant on the subject?
Devs out there CAN make their games smaller, they just decide not to. Look at how CD Project Red was able to fit The Witcher 3 with both DLCs on 32 GB cart. Yes, it doesn't look as good but it just proves that it's possible. I know the MCC and Xbox One games use 1080p or 4K textures but that doesn't mean the game needs to be as big as 175GB like the new Call of Duty. 175GB could have been smaller if the devs wanted it to be.
Again though, you seem to be a very sensitive poster so whatever is going on in your life, I hope it gets better soon.
