Played Asheron's Call off and on for the whole life of the game. Haven't tried any of the emulators since shortly after the game shut down. It was an emotional event experiencing the shut down. It's my most played game. Overwatch is my most played xbox game at 620 hours and that's maybe 1/3 my play time of my main character in Asheron's Call.

Picked up Crawl and Bertram Fiddle 2 this week with credit. Anyone play Dreamfall Chapters? Looks like it could be okay.

Totally understand the emotional part. My bro was crushed. Asherons Call was just his thing. I imagine the emptiness he felt after. Sucks.

I lost my cag license today guys. I did a thing. I haven't done this in about 7 years now.

I paid full price for a game today! Actually it was 2 games. Bad mr hockey!

I know. Im sorry. Im disgusted with myself.

I preordered marvel avengers and madden. Granted I got them both free. I cashed out bing points...but still.

Avengers? I wasn't super impressed by that preview thing.

I bought The Last of Us 2 for $60, but after I blitz through the story it's going up on eBay.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is going to be my other big full-price purchase this year. I know the price dips like crazy on Ubisoft games but I just don't want to wait. :)

I was an EverQuest beta tester and lost 8 years of my life to that game. But, when World of Warcraft came out and they made EverQuest 2, it basically split the community of the game down to a fourth of what it was, and it never was the same again. Every now and again I will log on just to run around and look at some of my favorite areas of the game, but it really is extremely outdated now, and the combat system is hot garbage. I'm amazed by what we used to put up with in the 1990s.

Last thing to add about BP, normal is 120/80. If you're near this number it's good but if it's 15 points higher or 25 points lower than the normal number go see a doctor. Especially if you have family history of heart/BP issues.

I got the Adventure Time game with more Bing points. It seems pretty fun so far. The humor has me laughing out loud, and the achievements are crazy easy. So, I should be looking at a simple 50 points a day for the foreseeable future, with this, and my four LEGO SuperHero games.

I’m more concerned you paid full price for Madden. That’s a ban worthy offense.

I usually get Assassin's Creed at release but I haven't finished Odyssey yet so need to wait and see about Valhalla. If I'm able to grind out Odyssey I may pick it up but may be too burnt out. I'll probably wait on the gold edition though, if it doesn't come with a remaster like other gold versions and is still the same price it isn't worth it.

Since Unity came out, I wait until they drop around Black Friday so the gold edition isn’t so expensive.

The games are fun but according to the forum on TA, the remaster has a lot of bugs including glitched achievements.

A lot of the appeal probably depends on enjoying the books/movies though tbh. Like you're going to be pretty lost trying to understand the story. It's the old style of Lego game where there's no voice acting and they pantomime the story.

"virtually eliminated"  :-|

That's some misleading marketing spin right there.  Even in comparison to the glacially long boot & load times off a budget 5400rpm notebook hdd.

Okay, at first, I was like, "What the hell is Dunk Lords?"  But after watching the trailer, I'm kind of intrigued. Basketball mixed with beat 'em up? What could go wrong?

WRC 8 actually got pretty good reviews so looking forward to checking that out. Dunk Lords could either be really good or really bad. But I’ll check it out.

Perhaps I don't understand your post, but it's a response like this that is the exact reason they are so careful with wording.  There is no pleasing anyone anymore.  I'm not sure what you want them to say, but the moment they say something more definitive, they get a bunch of people complaining about how their load time is 2 milliseconds more than it should be, etc. (all for a free upgrade, by the way)

The straightforward wording would be "reduced."  Because that's what it is.

Do you take meds for it? Thats really high.

I started an SSRI for Major Depression a few months back.  I don't know if there's correlation between High Blood Pressure but it's something I'm definitely tracking

Man you probably need to talk to the doc. That's really high. High blood pressure is hereditary in my family so I stay on top of it. Diet is a big thing. Hope it drops with the changes you're making.

Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

Thank you- took it this morning and it had dropped to 193/104 (but I'm still nervous about it)

Dang, that’s really high, my doctor wanted to put me on meds back when mine was 154/112 a few months ago but I asked if I could try exercise and diet first and now it’s 124/78 as of this morning, I walk about 2-3 miles out and then run it back home in the mornings. It’s helped me keep mine lower, combined with lower calories and less sugar.

Yeah- I was tracking it after chatting with my Dr last week and she wanted to track it for a bit. it started falling to the 150 range after leaving my in-laws, but I think my diet / alcohol intake / daily reading of the news made it spike.  My sleep has been rough also, which I guess is a factor as well.

That is excessively high. No joke, see a doctor ASAP. I've been on a blood pressure pill for a few years & it's no big deal. I still eat like the fat ass I am lol.

Making a virtual appointment to see someone at Kaiser and see if I can get on a blood pressure pill

Damn. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of someone with a blood pressure that high. As others have said, that is serious stuff. Definitely would see a doctor if you haven’t already.

Hope things get better!

Went to the ER last time it was high and it dropped.

Nobody's is really driving home the fact that you need to see a doctor. I'm 33 and both of those numbers are roughly DOUBLE mine. If your blood pressure was taken correctly and really is that high, then you could very easily have a stroke or heart attack within the next few days. Blood vessels are not designed for pressures that high.

100% of my focus would be on getting that lowered as quickly as possible if I were you. I'd go to the ER.

Went to the ER while I was at my in-laws in Central CA.  Got checked out and discharged- it dropped down to

Blood pressure that high really needs to be medicated. Uncontrolled it can cause a lot of problems. I know the idea of taking a daily medication kind of sucks but once you start it’s not a big deal. I started taking Verapamil a couple years ago cause mine was over the line and causing severe migraines. Change the diet, exercise, and learn to manage stress and you can get off meds.

Yup- on it.

This, exactly this!!! Get yourself to the ER ASAP!!! My aunt was ended up in the hospital twice last year because her blood pressure went through the roof. Each time they had no idea what had caused it to skyrocket. She wasn't sick and takes medication for it, she also watches what she eats.

Yikes- thank you; I had no idea how bad High BLood Pressure could be

I 3rd this. Get to a hospital quick. High BP runs in my father's side of the family. I've been on meds since my early 20s thanks to a heart surgery that went wrong earlier in life. I got my dad convinced to get meds for his when he was hitting 190/120 for a few days in a row.

As a Cardiac Sonographer I highly recommend you see a doctor ASAP. Get an EKG and an echocardiogram, depending on how long your BP has been like that you run the risk of having a hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (thick heart muscle) or an aortic aneurysm. If you’re experiencing strong back pain, drop everything and go to the ER. Otherwise do lots of yoga breathing to keep that BP down. Slow inhale through the nose, hold for five seconds and exhale through the mouth. Best of luck!

Thank you- starting some yoga & making dietary changes.  Also setting up a Virtual Appointment with a Dr for going on a Blood Pressure Meds

Last thing to add about BP, normal is 120/80. If you're near this number it's good but if it's 15 points higher or 25 points lower than the normal number go see a doctor. Especially if you have family history of heart/BP issues.

I've been tracking for a bit- hoping the weekend was just a fluke

Attched: This has been the past time- hoping to continue a downward trend.

Thank you for all of the advice- it's been really appreciated and helped me understand how big of an issue this is.  I truly appreciate how supportive this community/thread is

193/104 is still high. And warrants a doctor’s visit and high blood pressure medicine. Mine was like in the 170s/90s when I first started BP meds. Really is not something to mess with and a pill is a better solution serious heart issues down the line.

My wife has blood pressure issues and when she was pregnant with our last kid she was over 200 at her prenatal visit and they made her get in an ambulance and go to the hospital, she didn’t get out til she had my son 2 months early 5 weeks later.

Cyberpunk show was.. kind of boring? Geoff Keighley was raving about the amazing world and the colorful characters, then what they showed was a really slow tutorial sequence for detective mode. I'm sure the game will be cool and all but definitely nothing in that presentation made me feel like I need to play it day one for $50.

Since all the splinter cell games are on sale could anyone point me towards which are worth buying? I think I've heard the OG Xbox version of double agent is better than the 360 version. I remember hearing either blacklist or conviction were action more than stealth gameplay. Chaos theory I remember playing from my childhood but not sure how well it holds up. Really been enjoying stealth games lately having replayed MGSV and just finished playing Watch Dogs 2 now working through LoU2. A splinter cell sale totally works for me rn
