Got my McWill screens and capacitors for my Lynx and Game Gear from Console 5, Ive only gotten around to removing the old capacitors from the GG because im lazy and did some Ebay/Facebook sales and thrifting instead. That was suppose to be my weekend project! Local game store had all the parts I went in to get today! That rarely happens. Especially with Genesis model 1 composite cables. Not pictured- picked up 2 blue Rockcandy Wiimotes , a 4 port USB 3.0 hub, and some Mountain Dew/candy with the $50 Walmart giftcard I found in a drawer at work (dont worry I was given permission to keep it because I cleaned and organized all the drawers/folders!). MD and candy will be shared with my coworkers....diabetes for all!

Samsung Galaxy Flip Z (shouldve taken a pic with my old phone before swapping everything over!). OG GameBoy backlit kit from Console5. SNES Switch controllers from Nintendo.

Well, since I won't be getting any more packages the rest of this month according to my tracking numbers, this is a good time to close of March pick-ups with some pictures.

Not quite as large as February, but still a pretty good month all things considered.

Going to have to slow down in April though as these first three months have been a bit more than I planned for...or at least that's the plan.

1. Master System/Gear Gear/Sega card adapter for Retron5 from Ebay. 2. Dropped $90 on this bundle from FB Marketplace.... should've tried lower. Guy said the NES booted to blue screen. Had to take it apart and really clean all the motherboard pins to get a better connection with the 72 pin cart connector. One controller seems dead. Console works now but picky. Said the GC was fine... disc drive sensor was broke. I used the good one from my other GCs drive to test it. It works great now. Gonna take the drive out anyways when I mod it! 3. Parts the guy didn't include that I got from a game store, Tricky Towers from SRG, 3d printed SD card mounts for the GCLoader mod.

Xbox, console only was free from a friend. Had cables for it. Games and controller I picked up at a game store. All works great. Majoras Mask hologram edition was $30 off Facebook Marketplace. Wonderful 101 was from Kickstarter.

More of my spending has moved towards movies, and I've found I'm buying fewer and fewer video games. Part of this is that I'm losing interest. I think the PS4 may be my last console, at least for the foreseeable future. I may pick up a PS5 and Switch down the road, but not any time soon. I'll probably pick up a Switch close to/near the end of that console's life cycle, if only to play Mario Odyssey, Luigi's Mansion 3, Zelda: BOTW 2, and Platinum's Bayonetta 3.  I'm a nostalgic Nintendo sucker, though not a fan of the company's recent foray into fleecing its core users through plastic figures and mobile/DLC (yes, I know Nintendo doesn't abuse this like others, but I'm against all micro-transactions - glad to see Nintendo seems to putting the temporary brakes on mobile development).

Anyways, picked up the following for PS4 over the last few months: God of War Remastered; LittleBigPlanet 3; Flipping Death; Code Vein; Wattam; Banner Saga Trilogy; and Symphony Songbird.

1st pic- Facebook Marketplace $30- console only GameCube, Wiimote rubbers....giggity, and 4 Nunchuks. Everything was cleaned and tested after this pic. All works. Most people think they can get $100 for a GC around here so $30 I had to bite. Needed one to mod.

2nd pic- Went to Target for some soda and just the Cat Mario set..... yeahhhh

N64 bundle from Facebook Marketplace- $350. Yes that is a real Power100 gold controller and complete copies of Resident Evil 2 and Road Rash 64 you see! My luck- I offered to buy it and his Gamecube bundle one day.....he sold it on Ebay 20 mins before I offered. Wait a week and the buyer didnt pay for it so he relisted it on FB. Told him Id take it for $300 and he went $350. Close enough. Other pics- my first Lego sets in like 28 years, new Wii games in 2020?!, Square Enix Rewards member scarf that I got with points I forgot about!, and the monthly VGM box.

Local game store- $31. Arkanoid Doh It Again, Chuck Rock, and Cacoma Knight In Bizyland for SNES.

Nordstrom Rack- $45 shipped. These were like $200 Cole Haan dress shoes at one point. Switch games from Super Rare Games. Digital scale from Amazon.

More SNES games from the game store, $120- Brain Lord, Might And Magic III, Mr Do, Lamborghini American Challenge, Nobungas Ambition Lord of Darkness, and Mohawk and Headphone Jack with some label damage.... should've used a hair dryer to loosen the sticker before attempting to remove it!

Facebook Marketplace- $200. CIB PS1 and PS2. Sealed Clone Wars, Namcomuseum, and svideo cable. All games are complete except Spyhunter in the green Xbox case. All accessories appear to work. Currently using Volume 40 cream to remove the yellow from the PS1 controller and 4 controller adapter.

$14 from Amazon. My other Switch case was getting full. And this is so compact.

Pacman was $4 and the Wii ac adapter was $10 from local game store. Was gonna buy a Wii bundle from a guy but he sold it to someone else. Oh well, can never have too many parts!

1. Walgreens, $24. They were on the clearance shelf. Also got some Gatorades and Mountain Dew!

2. Coworker, $30. She was just gonna give them to me but after cleaning and testing everything I decided to throw her some $.

3. Game store, $70. Signed up for their membership and Buy 3 Get 1 free is one of the things you get.

4. Facebook Marketplace, $65. 2 rows of PS2 games are complete. Couple empty cases and disc only games. Everything works. Took me like a week to get the mildew musty smell from the cases, artwork, and booklets. Soaked the cases in a tub of shampoo water for a few days and wrapped the art and booklets in dryer sheets. Put the art and booklets in a big plastic bag with a container of baking soda.... seems to have worked pretty good.

5. THPS1+2 Collector's Edition and finger board from Gamestop. VGM box

6. Buy 3 Get 1 Free at local gamestore. $52

7. Replacement N64 port covers from Ebay

8. New PC parts from Newegg! Still waiting on a rear fan and those new GeForce cards.

9. Turbo Grafx mini from Amazon, shipped just like that with a label slapped on.... morons! Switch game from Super Rare Games.

I need to post more frequently! The pics add up! Info on some items that werent retail purchases- Went to my aunts last month and she told me take anything I want from the attic- Ended up bringing home a ton of Little Golden Books, wind up toys, and other misc toys. Im in a product review group for Target and I was lucky enough to check my email I got a pair of Bose Frames blutooth sunglasses! When they have items like this they are very limited! The 2 video game bundles were from the same guy on FB Marketplace, $300 total if I remember correctly. Atari Jag stuff was the same guy, $35.
