This actually includes some Switch games, just not the ones most people would be looking for aka first party.

I attempted to order 3 games and cancelled two and kept RE3. It seems my order still shows tax from the previous total with all 3 games included. Will the tax adjust for the new total of one game?
 
44.84 total for my RE3 cancelled two, paid with redcard. I guess taxed from other games.

Shows $32 for my Kakarot and debating if I should get my hero.
 
When I lose GCU in May, this will likely be my new pre-order method for games since Target seems to like doing these sales often. Even better now that I have Red Card. Then again, with game pass being a thing now, I may end up just not buying games with rare exception. Man, what an end of an era. . .

If Persona 5 Royal, The Last Of Us 2, and Cyberpunk 2077/Animal Crossing were all part of this deal, I would bite in a heartbeat.
 
Animal Crossing would never though being a first party Nintendo release. It will sell millions without doing any big discounts or being in any of these specials.

 
Got RE3 reserved, hope the preorder skins are a pack-in voucher. May cancel as I see more footage, I wasn't a big fan of 3 back in the day...but the RE2 remake was sooo good. Plus Target still waiting until street date to ship is annoying as hell, I think it took them a full week to get my reserved Days Gone to me after release last year. They should either ship it early or allow you to pick it up in store. It's friggin' 2020 for shit's sake.

The way Target's Order Pickup works, their OPU team members have to fulfill any given order or batch of orders in under an hour. So you can't do that until the item is inventoried as a valid item in the store's system, which is presumably the street date.

I would imagine there would be repercussions if they somehow accidentally "sold" an item before its street date.

Last time I took advantage of this kind of deal for pre-orders, I received Devil May Cry 5 on the release date and Sekiro a day early.
