You can also get GameStop pro membership and use the monthly $5 credit to get it free. That’s what I did!

Qualifies for 4 for $10 if your GS has enough copies (mine did) = $2.50 a copy.

Can trade into amazon for $3 filler or just hold for the next +$5 promo or some other outlet ( low risk / reward at this point)

Is it worth getting if you don't have friends to play with?
You can solo the entire game, playing with friends is just a bonus.
The PuG aspect isn’t bad for random help doing some of the harder missions. (The last few at the end really)
Only the raids really need actual cooperation with the people in your party. Random players can easily beat the missions. I only played in one random group where we had issues, and it was mainly the mission being a bitch to begin with.

And as others said waaaaaaaaaaaaay more fun than the $5 you’ll spend.

Probably shouldn't do that since it's down to $2.99 on Xbox Live and may be cheap everywhere soon.

Jokes on you bud, I made a lot of money yesterday with the added $5 bonus on my 6 copies

Still $2.50 for a major release 1 year ago is worth the risk. Worst case I sell it back to GameStop for $3.30 credit (lamest boomerang ever). Currently Amazon offers $2 something for both versions so hope the values go back up next week!

2.99 on PSN now. I thought this might be in today's sale after Xbox yesterday. I may bite on that price.

Fun for $5. Endless loot grind at the end was when it stopped being fun though. Even though it's painstakingly accurately replicated, think it had to do with DC just being a boring combat environment TBH.

The year two expansion was announced today on an Ubisoft live stream; it’s $30 and comes out the first week of March.

the final episode of season one comes out tomorrow for pass members or next week for everyone else & is a prequel to that big paid expansion.

Yep, looks like $40 for a stand-alone version (base + expansion) will also launch next to the $30 digits expansion, so the base physical game should still probably maintain a TIV > $2 as the game will still be active online / streaming hopefully!

Would it be better to cop the Xbox One Steelbook Gold Edition that has the Season 1 Pass with it for $25 cause GameStop has it listed at that price?

Funny to read this thread again. Lessons learned!
I missed the big trade-in bonanza since it ended last night, so I still have one copy for PS4 and one copy for Xbox One. The irony is still I don't space on my systems for either game or the massive updates that are required to play them online. So, into the backlog they go!

Yea, I had travel soccer with the kids during this event, but even if I didn't I would have probably only traded in one copy. It just doesn't feel right to join in on a slickdeals frenzy to put GS deeper into the hole... which is hypocritical of me since literally everything I enjoy in this flipping hobby is exactly that

Fun math to measure future deals against! (nice deal, buts its no D2!)

Min/Maxing (and not get banned)

Buying 2 sets of 4 XB1 and PS4 using 4/$10 back in early Feb = $20 trade in credit invested
Flipping back to GS for Cash = 4-8 trips to GS = convert $20 credit to $123.20 cash.
Flipping back to GS for Credit = 4-8 trips to GS = free $162 credit = 3x $60 game preorders for $20

I wish I had a good reason for missing the flipping opportunity, but I had worked almost 6 hours of overtime last week and was dead tired. So I went to bed instead of going to GameStop. Good math, though!

that 6 hours of overtime was probably more than anyone made running from gamestop to gamestop anyway

I bought it for $3 with the recent digital sale that ended on 03/03.  I'm satisfied with what I paid but if I paid a penny more I'd feel like I got ripped off.

Ubisoft has turned generic shooter with dumb AI filled with lots of  walking back and forth to fetch quests into an art form.  I've literally played this game before, and it wasn't even called The Division.  When all of your games feel the exact same, there's something wrong.  At this point it's hard to tell if they're worse than Activision and EA or not, because atleast the other two companies are offering different experiences with their games.
