Animal Crossing New Horizons pre-order

Best Buy has a $10 credit on the pre-order now but Amazon hasn't matched. I emailed their customer service to ask a few days ago with no response (they said within 12 hours.) Has Amazon given up on matching these things altogether or should I hold out hope?

I wouldn't hold out hope. They stopped doing post-purchase price adjustments on Amazon. Wouldn't expect them to do this either at this point.
