Best Buy Deal of the Day Watch Dogs 2, Far Cry 4 PS4, $7.99 Each

Went to the BB app.. saw the escapists 2 was sold out and clicked on the page anyway, was able to add to cart and checkout.

Says I should get it Saturday, store pickup since $4 shipping was not going to happen. Waiting for the confirmation email..
 
Escapist 2 let's me add to cart but then says out of stock and doesn't give me any option to look for pick up.

Side note, since sale is only for PS4 versions of the other gamea that should really be in title.
 
I never got into Far Cry 4. I skipped to 5 and have New Dawn in my backlog. I've played all the other titles in that series since part 3 otherwise. 

 
Everyone so excited about Escapists 2. Us there some reason I should buy the physical for $10 over the Nintendo eShop version that is $6???

Considering that physical is better than digital, and you should never go digital unless it's a digital only game, that should be enough.

Good to hear. I enjoyed WD1. I’ve been waiting for this to go on sale. I actually had it in my shopping cart on the PS4 (12.49 right now for digital). Now, I have this schedule to pick up tomorrow.
 
Some people didn’t like the story in wd2, it’s ok. But the gameplay is better for sure. And a lot more content.
I need to go back and play more.. had it on ps traded it in and now have it on xbox digitally.

I thoroughly enjoyed FC4 and platinumed it. Bought gold edition FC5 and forced myself to finish it. Never even bothered with the DLC or New Dawn. It was fun at first, though the monotony and the story are just so damn bad. Not even exaggerating, I hated playing it halfway through. Just don't like to leave a game unfinished.

Always a fun topic, like coke/pepsi, ford/chevy, or apple/samsung. I despise digital and will not support it. Even digital only games like Superhot I just cannot buy. Physical or bust for me.

Ditto. I plat 3, 4 and Primal. Could not stand the story of 5. Really did nothing for me and ended up selling off the collectors edition and never even played the season pass content that came with it.

Edit: 4 has one of my favorite easter egg endings in a game ever, except some of the ridiculousness in Nier Automata

Spend $1,500 a year and you get unlimited free two day shipping. It seems like a lot, but it’s actually super easy if you just consciously buy stuff from Bestbuy that’s the same price as amazon or wherever else. They also price match.

It does to me due to the fact that I don’t spend a lot on electronics.
 
If someone is easily spending $1500 a year at Best Buy anyway by all means, but to make ANY effort to buy stuff you may barely need to get that free shipping is pretty dumb. So you're spending money, to not spend money, but you're not saving money. The point is to save overall money not have the bragging rights of "I've got free shipping at Best Buy" no one cares.

In case this is directed towards me.... I said I consciously make an effort to buy the things that I’d buy anyways, specifically at bestbuy, instead of amazon or target, etc. Definitely not buying stuff just to hold elite status with BBY. If not, carry on!

easiest way to do this is to get the bestbuy Visa card. spend $1500 on the card and you get elite, spend $3500 on the card per year and you have elite plus. you do not even have to spend it at best buy. you also get 5% back in points for whatever you buy at best buy or 6% if elite plus. also get 2% at grocery stores and restraunts and 1% for the rest. just do not be dumb and run up the balance, the apr is outrageous. if you pay it off every month it is a win win. you can also horde points until you have enough for something good.
