Wanted to come in and tell the hosts about the Brave browser which is a privacy-forward Chrome browser. The big advantage for me is the auto ad blocking and tracker blocking. It makes loading sites like Forbes fast because the junk is blocked.

Great call from Wombat, who is surely going to be headhunted by DC Films any day now. Joker would have been much better if they had a young guy like Cole Sprouse in the lead role.

“Worst hot take” is that someone loves Breath of the Wild so much they put it as best game of all time on their personal list. Wombat: Fuck that guy. Lol, ok dude.

HBO products are complicated because linear cable deals are complicated. Imagine having a business where you have two major products that compete with each other (a cable channel that makes money from people having cable vs standalone product that encourages them to get rid of cable)

They should've had the Joker from Gotham play the Joker. And Wombat can still play Batman in Batwoman.

Shipwreck could plan a scavenger hunt with all the fun things the kids can grab.

With Switch sales recently hitting 55.7 million, I'd put this attempt to downplay how popular the Switch clearly was when it launched right up there for worst videogame take of the past five years. The WiiU sold 3.06m in 44 days in November/December 2012, while the Switch sold 2.74m in 29 days in March 2017. So the Switch didn't sell less than the WiiU in their first month because, to point out a true fact, 44 days is not a month.

Geez, I cringed so hard when Cheapy mentioned his high school classmate. I thought I could crap out diamonds, if coal was up my butt.

As someone that didn't have the most awesome high school experience ever at the time.   I do not look forward to eventually hearing from old high school classmates' video game podcast, about the time in this distant future how I panhandled my way to an Xbox Series X.

So proud Cheapy didn't lose his load all over the Masturbatablet when he saw former schoolmate Amy Fisher on a porn chat. For research I looked up her current pictures.

The list Wombat was referring to was Dan Ryckert's Top 100 Games list. He actually made it very clear that it was a list of his personal favorites game and not objective at all. There was no "data" involved.

Not that I want to defend BotW, but you can’t fault someone for liking a game you don’t like, that’s what we call taste. That said, I’m 42 years old, been gaming for as long as I remembered (I started gaming on a Commodore Vic-20 when I was 2-3 years old), and Zelda: Breath of the Wild, is also my #1 best video game of all time! This is the first game I put over 360 hours in it (previously my record was about 140 hrs of Smash Bros Melee). And maybe it didn’t clicked for everyone, but when it clicked, wow! what a perfect game it is!

And regarding The Joker, maybe I didn’t see the same version as Wombat, as they definitely made Arthur a somewhat sympathetic character. He is a mentally ill person, that’s been constantly bullied and just snap at one point. But, they took a good care at showing that, the persons he killed have all been bad to him. Prior to the last 10- 15 min I never saw him as a ‘villain’ but more as a ‘victim’ that just snap because of all the bads around him. As for its age, in the movie with the clues throwing around, he is considered to be around mid to late 30s, and Bruce looks like around 10. So, about 20 years difference between them makes it Ok if you want to have a working Batman continuity. Works for me! :)

Great show!

Since Wombat has been diving into the backlog, I highly suggest he listen to episode 602: "Bowling for Bacteria." It's less than a year old, but it would be interesting to hear his thoughts about eating at a bowling alley after sticking his fingers into communal bowling balls in this post-pandemic world.

Great show but I feel like you three sound unexcited about video games right now. I get it. Life happens when we get older. But I think someone needs to get you some nice free game codes fast. I do understand though. Sometimes it is hard to get excited when the rest of your life os taking up so much time.

Listening to the show at the moment. Them talking about the rats. Have you heard about the cannibal rats that are running around now?

EDIT: Psyonix is the Rocket League devs.
