Xbox one- TOO HUMAN true hidden gem

Free on backwards compatibility.. you MUST type it in the search, as it is not listed... This is a great game and a rare find bc of a lawsuit sometime ago involving the devs. All new copies of the game were removed from shelves and ordered to be destroyed.

Yeah it's been free for a while now, at least more than a year. I thought they would have removed it by now.

Also worth mentioning this is an Xbox 360 game, so 360 owners can play it too. Although it runs much better on Xbox One, since the 360 version had bad screen tearing and performance issues.

I remember looking forward to this game so much. Eternal Darkness was an amazing game for it's time and was so well made. Too Human was just hard to get into, it felt like such a poorly made game.

It has to be free because they can't legally sell it.

Interesting...if true, I would assume this is not the first or last time thus situation has occurred. Is there a listing of all games for thus sort of thing?
X-Men Destiny was pulled from sale for the same reason Too Human was, but I think they can't put that up for free because of the X-Men licensing. Similar to how Tatsunoko vs Capcom was pulled from sale due to the Tatsunoko license expiring.

There are a whole lot of examples of that kind of thing, it's pretty rare that a game gets yanked due to legal reasons like Too Human was, so there's nothing preventing them from offering it for free.

From the cover art, it looks like a God of War rip off. Anybody else have anything positive to say about the game?
iirc this was on my wish list like 10 years ago on 360. I am kind of picky about what games I purchase/commit to play, especially back then, and had read some really good things on this one. I do not recall ever getting it...maybe there was a demo or something on 360 because it seem like I tried it? I am thinking it was ARPG style. I claimed it but likely won't get to playing it since I have a ton of stuff in my backlog now that probably deserves more attention. I played through a lot more games back then and was often looking for "hidden gems" I missed. Glory days....

I personally loved it. Bought it day 1 and finished it several times - and still think of it randomly after all of these years. Free is great, doesn't hurt to try it and see if it's something you might like.

It's nothing like God of War. It's more of a Diablo style game with guns and swords and you fight large hordes of enemies at a time.

I think it's a very good game for it's time.. it was supposed to be a trilogy... I just thought maybe some of us older heads would appreciate it. Hopefully some of the younger ones will be able to experience it... Also worth mentioning that you can still get achievements for it... Thank you for the views and replies, and being easy on me as this was my first post, but I've been a lurker on the forum/site for quite a few years.. thank you again everybody.
