Elder Scrolls Online - Greymoor Prologue (Free to Play - August 6th to 19th)

I’ve been toying with the idea of getting into ES:O on PS4, but I haven’t quite talked myself into it... how does it compare to skyrim or oblivion?

Just downloaded it today. Anyone have any idea how many hours it takes to get into the newest content? Are we talking 100’s of hours?

I used to love it when it first came out!! You were able to kill the mini world bosses on you own without help, but nowadays the updates made it impossible to solo anything alone, except the storyline. They force you to get in a team or wait for other players so you can complete quests. I get it, it's an online MULTIPLAYER game, but some things I want to do alone sometimes.

It's a MMORPG I have to disagree with you. I've played many mmos and the most fun I've had in them is gathering a bunch of people to kill world bosses. If you like destroying bosses on your own maybe play single player games?

Kingdoms of Amular has an mmo type feel but is a single player experience. Its getting re released soon I'd suggest checking that out if you haven't before.

Kingdoms of Amalur was a really really good game. I never really thought of it as having a mmo feel before, but you’re right, it does. I’d recommend it to anyone that likes RPGs in general. I’ve got the rerelease preordered, but I’m honestly not sure when I’ll find 100 hours or so for it 🤔
