Neurofibromatosis ( or NF) is an underrecognized genetic disorder that can cause tumors to grow on nerves through the body. NF occurs in 1 in 3000 people and affects millions of people worldwide. NF can lead to blindness, abnormalities, cancer, deafness, disfigurement, learning disabilities, and disabling pain.
The Children's Tumor Foundation's mission is to drive research, expand knowledge, and advance care for the NF community.
