Great, mine just ended last week and I wasn't planning on renewing because I barely use it, but at this price, time to get some Splatoon 2 on again. Thanks OP!

Worked for me too, although I also used PayPal because the site looked kinda shitty in a "we're just here to farm your cc info" kind of way. Everything went fine though, thanks OP.

I got it too thanks!  I also used paypal for the shady looking reasons.  The code came within like 2 minutes.

My year of NSO expired at the year anniversary mark of Super Mario Maker 2 so this helps with the next year.

It's too bad there's no way to upgrade from a single plan to a family plan...

I've had Nintendo Switch Online since last Black Friday, and I've never used it.  Can you name any decent non-Nintendo online games?

I was going to buy this but when I got to the Paypal checkout I saw that the payment went to some Hotmail account I decided not to go through with it. Seems ultra shady.

Grabbed one a couple nights ago, went through PayPal. Got code almost immediately. Worked fine when redeeming. JimYeah99 is cool in my book.

Thanks OP!

As an alternative.  If you like Tetris...

Buy Tetris 99 (new, physical) for $30, which includes 1 year of Nintendo Online.  You get the same online game + all the DLC, including single player Tetris (YAY!).  The added content playing solo Tetris on-the-go via Switch is pure win, IMO.  To each their own.

If you absolutely hate the game, it goes for $20 loose on EBay.  Yeah copies are drying up, and it's getting uncommon, apparently, hence the price.

[People who acquire Nintendo Online do get access to Tetris 99 as part of the service.  You do not get the DLC packs, however, so you need to spend more $$ for solo / local play modes, without the physical cart ..  The cart is the better deal, just sayin'.  ]

To each their own, as mentioned.

Just a word of warning on this deal (if it's still active).   A lot of these "too good to be true" prices on digital items come from people using stolen credit cards to buy the codes to then resell.  What ends up happening is the cardholders eventually notice the transactions (most of the time) and report them and then the transaction is reversed and eventually it gets back to nintendo and they then close/ban the account of the person that used the code.

So just be smart about who you are willing to roll the dice on.   Some random dude with a generic free hotmail account with the too good to be true price seems too high a risk IMO.

I bought a code on the 28th of September. I attempted to use it last night and it was already redeemed. I then accessed the contact us page from the email and the individual tells me to get nintendo support to see when it was redeemed which is something they cant do. so buyer beware...SCAM!!!

General guidance is to always immediately redeem these gray market codes for this exact reason. You didn’t get scammed; you were negligent.

The code might not have been redeemed, it makes get have been charge-backed. This person was not only scammed but their "negligence" may have prevented a Nintendo account lockout.

Don't blame the victim for being slow. That's super cheesy. Blame the victim for buying something obviously too good to be true...

I wouldn't consider this a "to good to be true" kind of deal. it was only a bit more than $5 off. If it was $5-$10 dollar to purchase then I would agree. Also this was my one and only purchase from bcdkeys.com. I have browse their site in the past but have never brought anything from them until then. I have brought from cdkeys.com and I see similarities between the 2 sites. I "sat" on codes purchased from cdkeys.com for 6 months plus with no issue. So what evidence would I have to say bcdkeys.com is non-credible. I had planned to redeem the code on the 1st of October but simply forgot to. I have seen various codes for Switch online on sale before from various outlets like amazon with similar prices. So to recap I'm not negligent or slow. Regardless of when I buy a code unless it states that it has an expiration date I should be able to redeem it immediately or months later. That code should not go back into circulation, but it obviously it did if it was valid to begin with. I view this forum as a credible source of video game related deals. Not as a cesspool for anyone to post whatever "shady deals" they wish without any verification.

Too good to be true is a bit hyperbolic here, but it's also worth noting that >25% off on these codes is pretty unprecedented.

Regardless, I completely agree with everything else you've said. Also I only meant "slow" to redeem, not in a derogatory sense. It was not my intent to insult or offend!

To me it was "too good to be true" because of the lack of discounts on Nintendo ONline from any legit normal source.  Instead it was from a company you likely never heard of before.  They copied the name of cdkeys and renamed it to clearly fool as many people as possible into thinking it was the same company or at least safe to deal with.  The billing used some dudes personal paypal account with a free hotmail email address.  I mean, this was about as believable a legit deal as the guy selling clearly bootleg dvd's out of his trunk.  Maybe the codes were real, but the way they were acquired was likely due to fraud/theft and it was foolish to buy them to save $5 and change and risk your account.

If you paid by paypal, file a claim.  If you gave them your CC info... file a claim and also get a new card.
